The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Single wire design. P2 rated.So I initially was asked to do a review and I only gave one star because the product never arrived as scheduled. It did arrive today and it was probably the post office fault. I was excited to see that the product matched the old lights. In the description they mentioned a stainless steel base. That's great because it's going on a saltwater boat trailer. After further examining I saw that the stud was steel. Really. My old one had a stainless steel stud or bolt. Come on guys stainless steel base with a steel mounting bolt. The light grounds through the mounting stud. Fortunately I was able to disassemble and swap out for a stainless steel one. I guess this wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't going in saltwater but it is.
These are direct replacement for my boat trailer. They arrived quickly.
These are great LED replacements for my trailer.
I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Very bright, very easy install; only reason for 4 stars is bc I just installed them and can't speak for their longevity; I drilled a small hole in my trailer next to the main mounting hole to poke the wire through, so as not to see the wire; looked very nice.

As of the last time I launched which was in November the lights still worked great. They have been fully submersed many times in either fresh or salt water.
The wrong item was shipped but you rectified that problem with a new part the one that was ordered and I did not even have to ship the wrong one back

Great product so far, bright and matches existing truck Amber LED lights. Easy to install with stud attached and single wire.

Product still works with no problem. Recommended for any use.
Just opened my package this morning and the new marker lamps exceed my expectations.
Driving home in the dark last night with three lamps in bad order was not fun.
with the arrival of these new optronics LED marker lights it will be safer for me and those on the road next to my boat trailer.

Could not be happier with these LED lights.
Very easy to install and look great on trailer. Low profile and small but very bright LED's. They really look much better than the old bulb type I had on there before. I have not "dunked" them in the salt water yet but hopefully they will hold up.

the submersible LED trailer lights are still shining as bright as ever despite repeated dunking in salt water for the past year. These have been a great purchase.
Very bright lights. I didn’t like that the wiring was not through the bolt but otherwise they are a good replacement light.
Don't know yet. Broke the one on my trailer, but haven't installed this yet. If it's the same as other products from ET, it's going to be better than average. Shipping is always, always quick. That's not a typo. Always. Quick.
I bought these light for a pull behind motorcycle trailer build I was doing and I am pleased to say they have been great! They have been on the trailer for about a year now and I have travelled with the trailer for about 3500 miles now towing it behind my motorcycle. No problems or issues. They draw very little power which is great for a motorcycle charging system.
Clear descriptions and pictures. I got exactly what I ordered and they were shipped quickly. And, best of all, they look great on the trailer.

They have held up great and still look like I just put them on yesterday.
Easy Install. Worked as expected. Appear to be waterproof.

Product arrived well packaged and on time. Used them to light up my running boards on a Ram 3500 (went a little retro) Ran these to my 4 pin trailer Harness and they work great. Love the look. Have already recommended to someone else that liked mine. Would order again.
Easy to install. Same hook up as the old ones. Didn't have to drill holes. Just bolted them on and hooked up yhe wires. They are really bright.
Outstanding product. Used these to go "retro" and put on my Ram running Boards. Easy install. Just made some holes in pinch weld - ran to 4 pin trailer connection and BAM - all good. Lights delivered quickly and in great shape. Recommend this product.
