Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Low Profile LED Combination RV Tail Light. This is a part about six inch, maybe just shy of six inch wide right about just over one and a half inch thick. Passenger side tail light. This is going to give you your stop, turn and tail light so that you can display all three of those signals.

Does feature six light emitting diodes. Now, if you're not familiar with LED's, they are a great alternative to your incandescent lights. They don't have the brittle filament inside, so they last up to about 50 times longer. You're not going to have to worry about changing them out. In fact, these have a lifetime warranty on them, so they're going to last you a nice long time.

They're also more efficient than your incandescent lights, so you're going to get a brighter light with less power draw on your system.So LED's are a great way to go and they're kind of the modern bulb. This system, it's got ABS base and an acrylic lens, which can pop up. Let me try and pop this up for you so I can show you. There we go. On the inside here, this will flush mount to your RV.

We've got all these different holes around here, so we can easily put screws in there to hold it in place. The hardware is not included with this kit, but it will be very easy to get those put in. And then you can just snap that cover back in place, and it will be ready to go. This is going to be compatible with your 12 volt DC systems. The LED's are white, but you can see that lens is red.

So it's going to give us that nice red light that we need for our tail lights and turn signals.We've got a three wire pigtail here so that we can get all those signals going. Our white is going to be our ground. Our black is going to be our running lights, and then our red is going to be our turn signals and brakes. If I get those hooked up for us. Again, black is our running lights. White is our ground. So you can already see lights have come on there. If I disconnect our ground again, see the difference. And then hook up our taillights, so as our turn signal or brake comes on, you can see a clear distinction between our running lights and those lights. I'm going to turn off the lights in the studio here. Those are our running lights. It's hard to see they do have a built-in reflector on the back. So you're seeing a little bit of reflection, but you can tell on my table here that there is running lights there. And then when we turn on our turn signal or press on our brake, it's going to give a nice bright light so that other motorists are aware that we are stopping or turning.Now this is just for the passenger side. This does come with a lifetime warranty on the LED's, as I've mentioned, and it is Department of Transportation compliant. So it's going to be safe to put it on your RV. It's going to allow other motorists to see you at night and to see you turning and stopping. It's going to be a great replacement, if you need a replacement for your passenger side tail light.
