Optronics ST16 Series Combination Tail Light Dimensions

Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.

Combination Lights for Trailers Over 80" Wide

Flatbed trailer over 80" wide with combination tail lights

If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.

To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.

I had to replace my boat trailer lights on my 1995 Sea Ray boat trailer. These were the perfect replacement lights for the matching of the existing ones. The mounting holes lined up perfect, no drilling required, just remove the old and install the new.
It took more time to connect the wires on each side than to mount the new lights.
etrailer had these to me in three days, and there were exactly as described and many choices to pick from. I don't use the boat all that much, If it were newer and I used the boat more I would have went with the LED model. Again and as usual etrailer was top shelf on the shipping and the price!! Thanks folks, I'll be back again.

by:

Packaging and lights are 100% professionally done! 4 stars because the hardware for the passenger side was not stainless steel and will probably rust out before the lights do.

by:

After doing a google search for a passenger side rear tail light for my boat trailer, and looking at various websites, I finally found exactly what I needed on etrailer! The delivery was also very fast, plus etrailer reached out to me to make sure everything was OK and i was satisfied with my purchase.

by:

Good tires and rims at a good price.

by:

Cam in a timely manner and worked perfectly for a replacement on my Mariah trailer.

by:

Hi Amy, excellent product and installation was absolute breeze! Thanks

by:

Works as it should. If it works for several years then I would give it 5 stars.

by:

One of the carriage bolts was missing. Had to go to hardware store and get another carriage bolt and nut.
Also the idea that when lights arrived I would install them in the rain is arrogant.

by:

I don't what's up but every time I order from here I get great service and I end up getting the right part. I must be really lucky or you guy's and gal's do a great job. I think it's the latter. Haven't won the lottery so it must be your great service. Thanks.

by:

Great company, the customer service is outstanding. The lights work perfectly and were easy to change out. Thank you!

by:

It worked perfect on my trailer . Thanks

by:

Lights are a perfect fit replacement for old lights of the identical type. Four day std delivery was right on time. Installed and working fine.

Its been a year and many dips in the lake and the boat trailer lights are still burning bright.

by:

Received my light today and it works perfectly. It’s exactly what I wanted and I received it really quick. Thanks.

I was looking for a replacement taillight/brake light for my boat trailer. When I clicked on etrailer.com I was impressed with the site and with all of the products and information offered. It was easy to navigate their site and the product info was great. My taillight/ brake light works great and was an exact fit. Very pleased with the whole experience and will order from them again.

So far so good.

Finally got my order for the tail light working with Steph. There had been some sort of ordering mix up at the time of paying thru P ay Pal. I thought that the order was just VERY slow, Steph tracked it down, and the order was never finalized - ?? She then helped me reorder - paid $2.99 for lowest shipping on 6/20, got the tail light on 6/25 (in northern Illinois) - wonder how fast the expensive delivery would have been!! Thanks the Steph for all her help!!! By the way, the light looks perfect, just like the original on the trailer from the dealer.

Couldn't find an extact match for my SeaRay trailer, but these adapted
very easily. Om & connected in minutes. Very nice.

by:

Light was just as described, fitted perfectly. no problem when submersing the trailer.

by:

I find etrailer to have the trailer parts that are sometimes difficult to locate. Good product descriptions, with details and pictures ensure you are getting exactly what you need. Good prices, quick shipping and excellent customer service makes me always check etrailer first when I require parts for my boat trailer. I have bought several items from etrailer and have always been completely satisfied.

Replacement light for a customers trailer. perfect fit

by:

Fast shipping, part arrived as predicted. The lights fit the application perfect. Great ordering experience, customer rep was very friendly and helpful. Definatly reccomend order from etrailer. *

by:

The first tail light I received was broken in shipping, which does not reflect on the quality of the unit.

etrailer.com sent a replacement promptly, so I was pleased about that.

One problem I had was the mounting slot spacing is 1/4" different from the original lights I had, even though they both use the same lenses. I guess there is no industry standard for mounting holes on these. I had to re-drill the mounting holes in my bracket to make them fit.

by:

Last year I had a teenager learning how to back up with a trailer. This is how I came to need one replacement light. etrailer had a matching replacement light at a good price, and it arrived quickly and well packaged. That light is now starting its second season and is working well. I appreciated the wealth of information that is available on the website, and I found those resources very helpful. This year I have another teenager who needs to learn about trailers, so when the inevitable happens, I'll be back to etrailer!

We have both an LED and incandescent option for equivalent replacement lights on your 2005 Trailstar trailer. If you want incandescent lights then you can use the # ST16RB for the passenger and # ST17RB for the driver side. For LED lights you can use the # STL16RB for the passenger and # STL17RB for the driver side. I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.

  • Replacement Side Marker Lens for Wesbar Light on Long Trailer
I could not find anything on a Wesbar light item 60011 so either this number came from just the lens (which is not the light's actual part number; that would be on its base) or the light is old enough to be discontinued. In any case we carry all sorts of replacement lenses for trailer lights that you can see on the linked page. Appropriate replacement lenses can be viewed by clicking on the lens shape then the lens color. For instance, for a red side marker lens for light models # ST16RB...

If you are replacing your Wesbar 3504 tail light then there is no need to remove the wiring from inside the assembly itself. • Is Optronics Trailer Light, # ST16RB, Waterproof and Corrosion Resistant
The Optronics Trailer Light, # ST16RB, is waterproof and corrosion resistant and rated for boat trailer applications. This light is an exact replacement for Wesbar # 3554 or Peterson # M456. If you happen to find one of these numbers on your existing lights somewhere, this is the correct replacement light. What I highly recommend instead is the Optronics Trailer Tail Light - Driver Side # ST17RB and Passenger Side # ST16RB because these are 3-wire, submersible, incandescent lights like the ones you asked about so they will work as perfect replacements. Hey John, The Optronics A1STP2 93 compares to the STXXRB line of tail lights so you likely would be able to use the Replacement Tail Light and Side Marker Lens for Optronics Combination Tail Light # A16RB. The mounting holes in the lens are spaced 2-5/16" Vertically x 7-3/16" Horizontally. If your lens doesn't match that then let me know how the mounting holes are spaced from center to center and I can see if there's a replacement option available.

  • Water Gets Into Boat Trailer Taillights and Blows Fuse
You've hit the nail on the head. When the water is in the taillights assembly, it shorts the power supply circuit to ground causing you to blow fuses. I've seen folks drill a drain hole in the lowest point of the underside of the lamp housing, but your best course of action is to prevent the water from getting in there in the first place.
