So far so good. No problems. Thanks.

These light were a good replacement set for my Home Depot Snowbear trailer taillights. Best price I found for this or similar was here at etrailer.com.

Pic is not of my own trailer but is the same model. You can see the configuration of the taillights.

by:

Didn't get wires or bolts to mount it. No place on the site does it say these are not included.

The nuts are included with the light and I am sorry that you did not receive them. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. The light comes with holes to simply insert stripped wire existing on your trailer into holes for a secure connection. The wiring typically ranges from 16 to 18 gauge wire.

by:

I know I'm breaking them extremely fast, so for me it is a good choice. just a few $.

by:

Lights were well made for the application easy to install and as always etrailer has fast shipping and excellent support

Excellent replacement. Looks like original ones and simple to install. Tried to replace bulbs in old one's they would not hold contact and bulbs were almost as much as the replacement I saved time and anguish by just replacing the old ones

Did the job and good quality.

by:

Very quick delivery. The tail light looks just like the one pictured.

by:

On the several trailers I own, I break at least one a week, and it's good to have several spares on the shelf. Price is very fair.

  • Replacement for Old Trailer Square Tail Light 4-5/8" x 4-5/8"
I might have an option for you but without more detail, like a photo, it would just be a guess. That said, the size you mentioned is pretty common more or less for square trailer tail lights like the Optronics Combination Trailer Tail Light part # ST8RB for passenger or part # ST9RB for driver. If this is what yours looks like, I recommend using these as the two stud mounting pattern is pretty standard so don't get bogged down in the small dimensional differences. In regards to a replacement...

  • Are the ST8RB and ST9RB Submersible Lights
I have a solution for you, but neither the # ST8RB nor # ST9RB are submersible lights. Instead, you'll want to use the # ST6RB and # ST7RB - which are the submersible versions of those lights. These are still incandescent tail lights that look exactly the same, have the same dimensions and are the same 2 wire electrical system, they're just sealed up so that they can be safely used on boat trailers.

  • Replacement Square Stud Mount Trailer Lights for Utility Trailer
The Combination Trailer Tail Light part # ST9RB for driver side or part # ST8RB for passenger side is just what you need to replace the tail lights on a utility trailer. The lights mount via two studs which are 2" apart so they will be a direct replacement. In regards to installation, the lights ground though the studs so you only need to attach the stop/turn and running light wires for each side.

  • Is Bulb Already Installed on Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light
Yes, the Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, 6-Function, Right Hand # ST8RB does come with the bulb installed. The matching light for the left side of your trailer is the Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and License Plate Light, 7-Function, Left Hand # ST9RB, which also has the bult installed.

  • Recommended Trailer Lights and Parts Needed to Install With Wesbar 4 Pole Flat Connector
When using the Wesbar # W787274 you can just run a jumper wire for the running lights on the other side of the trailer; you're likely going to want to split the jacketing so that you can run the tail/blinker/brake light wires down each individual side of the trailer to allow for easier installation. If you need butt connectors you can use the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 to make your wiring connections, and you'll need 14 gauge wiring to match the Wesbar harness. For lights...

  • How to Connect Trailer Wiring to Optronics # ST8RB and # ST9RB Trailer Tailllights
If you have the Optronics # ST8RB and # ST9RB, no connector is needed. On the back of the taillight, there is a hole for the stop/turn and a hole for the running light wire. Each of these holes will have a smaller hole directly below it. Strip back the insulation on the wire by about a 1/4 inch, twist the copper strands of each wire tightly and push it into the hole in the back of the lamp as you're pushing a small screwdriver into the smaller hole. Once the wire is fully inserted, remove...

  • Replacement Tail Light for 2000 TrailStar Bass Tracker Pro Boat Trailer
I looked up some photos of a 2000 TrailStar Bass Tracker Pro Boat Trailer and it most likely uses either the Optronics Combination Trailer Tail Light part # ST16RB for passenger and part # ST17RB for driver side or the Optronics Combination Trailer Tail Light part # ST8RB for passenger side or part # ST7RB for driver. Unfortunately, you'd have to replace the entire tail light as we'd not have just the lens.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lamp Circuit on 2005 Ford F Series
I am assuming you are speaking of the 7-way trailer connector. Use a circuit tester like part #PTW2993 on the pin in the 11:00 position on the trailer connector. If you do not have voltage on that pin while the headlights or running lights are on, you most likely have a blown fuse. The lid of your fuse box should have a legend showing which fuses protect which circuit. This information should also be provided in your owner's manual. The fuses might not necessarily be located in the main...

  • Can the Optronics Tail Light # ST8RB Be Used on the Left and Right Side of a Trailer
You should not have a problem using the Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, 6-Function, Right Hand # ST8RB on the left and right hand sides of your trailer. It would be just a matter of wiring up the lights accordingly. On the # ST8RB there is an arrow that points to a wiring hole with the word Green. On the right side of your trailer this will be correct, but on the left side of the trailer you would need to install the yellow wire there.

  • Preferred Method of Grounding Trailer Lighting Circuits
Running a direct ground up to the trailer tongue or junction box would certainly work, but the only time I'd see that as being necessary is if the lamps were connected to a non metallic structure or a metallic structure that wasn't directly connected to the trailer frame. If the lamps aren't connected to a metal structure in direct contact with the trailer frame, you can use a short length of # DW02359-1 wire with a # DW05702-1 ring terminal on each end to serve as a jumper wire that joins...

  • How To Connect Optronics Trailer Lights # ST8RB and # ST9RB To a Trailer
The quick connect feature on the Optronics Light, part # ST8RB, and part # ST9RB, means that you can connect the wires by inserting them into the four holes on the back of the light. It is not referring to a separate part. The wires would be stripped about 1/4 inch and pushed into the correct hole on the back of the trailer light. The holes are marked with the tail light function that the hole provides. The wire when pushed in the hole will automatically lock in place and give you a quick...

  • Do Trailer Taillights Light Up When Vehicle Presses Brake Pedal
Yes, trailer brake lights are supposed to light up brighter when the tow vehicle applies the brakes. They are designed to work just like a vehicle's taillights that have the brake lights and the running lights on the same circuit. If you check out the review video link I attached you can see how a very standard trailer taillight # ST8RB lights up with the running lights and the stop/turn signal.
