The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated or P3-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

It was broken off last week by a maintenance guy, moving trailers in our storage lot. I wanted the same light again....great price, easy to install, and included all the parts. It really is submersable and brightly lite.I always shop Etrailer for all kinds of parts, ahead of other companies. Great customer service.
WOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!! These lights are BY FAR the brightest I have ever seen! Even with only the tailights on, they are STUNNINGLY INTENSE! Can't go wrong getting them, easy to install, solidly (REAL SOLID) built, look like they are very durable too. Absolutely and totally impressed and well worth the money. Put other LED and incandescent lights to shame!! JUST BUY THEM, YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY HAPPY!!
No more bulbs to worry with. It fit perfectly on my trailer. It lights up very clearly. The cost is competitive but the quality surpasses....
Product was exactly as described, easy installing, i was replacing one on boat trailer, fit perfectly in place of original assembly, been over 1 year no problems bright as ever, if you need lights give the good folks at etrailor a whirl you wont be disappointed

I have been more than pleased with the quality and performance of the Optronics brand lights! These are no exception!
This tail light assembly is a direct replacement on my ShoreLander trailer. The running lights, including four on the side, are a nice feature. The brake/signal light are more intense as expected. Lastly, the dimensions and mounting holes allowed me to bolt them into place without issue!
I, like others, am amazed at the brightness of the lights. They are a huge upgrade over my existing incandescent lamps! I am looking forward to no more burnt/broken bulbs!
I have purchased Optronics tailslights in the past, and am purchasing again as I like the quality/performance of the taillight assemblies. I would buy again and I would recommend to others as well!
It was a perfect match to my existing LED unit that went out after 8 years of service. etrailer had it in stock, making it a no brainer where to order it from.....and I always get good service from them.

I have had incandescent tail lamps burst because they got submerged in water. The housing was supposed to be watertight. This one looks like it will actually withstand some water pressure
I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Works great. Mounted directly in place of original incandescent one.
Replaced the jet ski trailer light perfectly! Lighting is much brighter than the stock incandescent bulb in all modes and light disbursement is very good, even from the sides.

A year later and these are still going strong and still very, very bright. Soooo worth it!
Good light, has worked well as a replac ement.
Quality LED lights. Easy to install and one year later they are still working well.

Put this on my boat trailer and so far one year later still going nice and bright, ready for this year. This trailer goes off road to a remote site boat landing so the lights will take a bouncing on dirt road, no issues. I always install for hardest possible use, I soldier and double shrink wrap then secure the cables.

Still working after 1 year, no issues, still bright.
Timely delivery after order, and the lights work just great! Perfect fit and great brightness & visibility.
They provided great customer service and follow up. I highly recommend them for your trailer needs.
First, the products are great coming as described and install was pretty easy. Videos also helpful. Make sure you have a good ground to the trailer otherwise the light will not work as designed. I'm glad I called them before I ordered because otherwise I would have ordered two right lights. (I did not see the left light) I might suggest that etrailer add a note to each product description referencing the complementary (right or left) tail light to make a set. This would have gotten me to the correct items without a call. That said, Jonathon in customer service was helpful and identified the correct items. Order received in good shape as expected. I would highly recommend these guys. Good products, fair price, good service.

The red outer lens was not affixed to the tail light. It came right off. I’ve had to glue the lens to the tail light to keep it from falling off. The driver’s side tail light was properly affixed.
