The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a grommet (A70GB - sold separately). These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

Accepts standard 3-prong plug (not included).I had to replace one burned tail light on my 2005 cargo trailer. I bought two and replace the other one as well. They work perfectly. The size and the 3 pins connction are the same as the original. A little downside is regarding the packaging. I would expect each light wrapped individualy to avoid the rattling in the box. See pics.
I have a Haulmark utility trailer. One tail light was giving me trouble and I tried fixing it but decided to just replace it with these. They are brighter and fit right in to the old grommet. They were a bit loose so I wrapped some e-tape around them and they are staying in place just fine. I also ordered the pigtails and soldered and heat-shrinked the connections - the factory connecting were "scotch-locks", which I hate. After I did this, I looked closely at the old lights and realized that there was a 3 prong plug which I might have been able to use rather than doing new connections and soldering them, but by doing what I did, I now have tight connections and I can easily replace the light if I ever have to (I got rid of the scotch locks). Yes, I could maybe have soldered the old connections and used the old plug, but it was constructed in such a way that I didn't realize it was there (I thought it was part of the light body). My picture shows the old light and the old plug disconnected from it and the new LED in place on my trailer. It works great - glad I did this. It's much brighter than the old light.

My boat is garage kept when not in use however, after 29 years it was time to replace the trailering wiring with a new wishbone harness. Very easy to do and no more issues with lights not working. Good product at a reasonable price.

Packaging could be improved as there were scratches on the plastic tail light lenses.

This LED trailer light is brighter than the incandescents and is form, fit, and function perfect.
Needed these lights for one of our cargo trailers. I had a rear light go out, and these units are sealed... You can't buy just a replacement bulb. They fit perfectly, and are bright and reliable. Customer service was amazing, quick delivery. I'm a contractor, with 6 of these large cargo trailers, and using these LED replacement lights is the only way to go. They never burn out! Love Etrailer.

91 Dodge dually had the old bulb red marker lights put the new LED red marker lights on have attached a picture so you can see what the lights look like and we are pressing the break so that's why they're bright

Bright and work well so far, have not yet submerged into the lake. But a word of warning.. I was surprised the lights were just tossed loose into a shipping box. No packaging, no rubber grommets, no pigtails. Luckily both the old rubber grommets and electrical connectors were in good shape on my trailer, and the new lights didn’t get too banged up in the shipping box.

After a year the lights are still bright and work flawlessly. Multiple dunks into the lake and no water was able to get into the lenses... would buy again!
Glad I forgot to order tail light from manufacturer for my tow dolly when I ordered replacement fender. Yours is perfect fit, much better price and best value for shipping of all sites I checked.

Perfect fit, I was able to re-use the existing rubber grommet and existing wiring. Plugged right in, no issues. A lot brighter than single bulb. As for customer service, can say enough! They followed with email upon shipping and followed up e-mail when delivered. Thank you, very happy customer!!!
