When I got around to installing it, to get it to only light when braking, required installing a "logic module" to prevent it from flashing with turn signals.
I used a Pacer Performance 20-702 module. It has 2 yellow wires and a green wire. One Yellow gets tapped onto the Left turn wire to taillight, and the other Yellow tapped onto the Right turn wire to Right taillight, and the Green wire is connected to the LED light's
positive Red wire .
The module is basically an AND gate that only feeds power to the Green wire/brake light when both Yellow wires are powered at the same time. See attached photos...
The Kenda K353 tires fit great, replacing my dry-rotted sidewall 4.80-12 tires that survived over 35 years without failure(Thank God)
I was replacing an existing light strip on my boat trailer. The existing one was broken and I was looking for an exact match. It had no identifying markings so I just started searching the internet and found what I was looking for at etrailer.com. I am very pleased with the results.
I didn't think this was bright enough for a third brake light.
This product was purchased as a CHM/thirdbrake light for my Jeep--to move the existing one from the "stalk" on the spare tire carrier to the hard top.

I was always worried that the low brake lights on my small utility trailer would not be seen. I added on this third brake light and put a plug on it so that it could be removable. Keep in mind that if you get this you need to get a brake module to help it operate correctly. Wish I remembered the name of it but if you ask the people e-trailer they are more than happy to help you as I did not make that module part of my original purchase and once I contacted them they were super super helpful.
Product ok, but delivery time took 1.5 month...
I used this as a third brake light on top of my ramp gate. It was perfect for the placement I wanted due to it's slim dimensions. It allows it to still be protected when I drop the gate to the ground.
Got the light in time to show to the other members of the vol. fire dept., at our meeting.
This light is not going on the back of my truck, it is going on the front, as a warning light. I will add a flasher & mount it dead center of the grill, about rearview mirror high.
With the intensity that this light has it should be easily seen in the daylight, which is the biggest problem for most firefighters personal vehicles.
I will send a picture when I get it mounted.

I installed this light on the rear of my 2012 Jeep. I have large tires (37") and the spare blocks the 3rd brake light. This light makes a great 3rd brake light mounted up high on the back of the roof.
Perfect 3rd brake light for my 5x10 utility trailer, nice and bright!!

This jack is precisely what I was looking for - solidly constructed, easy to install, easy to use. The ability to raise and lower the outer tube is great - it saves a lot of cranking when hitching/unhitching and also allows me to drop the jack below my tailgate height when trailer is attached so I can open tailgate with interference from jack. Because my business partner and I both tow the trailer this jack is being used on and our vehicles do not have the same hitch height, the adjustability is a great help in this area as well.
Arrived timely, as described, will make an excellent third brake light for my low boy trailer.
My trailer takes a beating year after year. Replaced all my lights on my utility trailer last year. Lights still look new and all work even sitting in extreme weather.
This is a repiacement for an identical unit that i installed 7 years ago That one worked well until i pulled the wires out while unloading cargo. This is a good choice for a 3rd brake light, as the led's are very bright.
Great little light I installed on my 5th wheel as a third brake light. Easy to mount, wire, and great display. I'd purchase again.
Usable but holes in lens do not correspond to holes in vehicle and no screws or double stick foam tape provided.
Mike L - 11/07/2018This item was an excellent choice to replace my third brake light of my S10 Chev with a Jeraco cap. It is sealed from weather and was easy to install. The LED diodes are bright. Looks like an original brake light.
