The light kit works great now; however, after much sweat & experimenting. Initially, I couldn’t get any of the lights to work, then I sanded away the paint where the lights attached to get good grounds from each light bolt/screw. At that point, 1 light worked perfect while the rest remained very dim. After changing wires & tow vehicles to verify it wasn’t something wrong with that connection, I found an etrailer post about running separate ground wires from each light directly to the ground connection coming from the tow vehicle. After another run to Lowe’s & several more feet of wire - it worked. Finally!! I don’t deal with this stuff regularly so this was like looking for an electric needle in a haystack. During this process, I called etrailer & they were good enough to get ready to send me a replacement light set, thinking this one was defective. Fortunately, I didn’t need it.

This is a pretty standard trailer light package. The price was good and the equipment works great. I would recommend this product. It comes with electrical clips that are garbage though so I would recommend doing something different for you connection health. Overall, I have saved it for the next time my tire explodes going down the road and takes out my lights just for added injury to my night. (lol)

Put these on an old boat trailer. Came out great. I got some white 16 gage stranded wire to carry the ground out to each mounting place. Helps the lights stay on even when stuff gets rusty.

This is an excellent product and simple to install. As long as you have a functioning plug-in on your vehicle you’ll be happy.

I’ve since pulled my boat to the lake with the trailer that I installed this lighting harness on. I unplug the lights before I back down the boat ramp to assure I don’t short out the system. Other than that I am still satisfied and would recommend these to anyone. Simple to install

The quality of these are better than the factory lights that came on the trailer originally. They're even brighter even though they use the same kind of bulbs as the original factory lights. The price was reasonable too.

Great kit! Includes front marker lights, splice connectors, wire support clips. Just about everything. The only things missing would be red splice connectors for tying in the taillights. Just a suggestion, it would be great if the ground wire was a little longer, and a bigger eyelet for the ground.

Rewired my 8x4 bed trailer, and chose these fo mo betta rain proof. EZ wiring, they're working fine!

Ok, had an issue with the bulb socket for brake and turn signal. Those socket designs date back to the stone age. Hard to set the bulb for proper electrical contact. Badly needs an updated design.

So overall I would recommend these! The product seems a little bit like "you get what you pay for." They don't seem to be of the highest quality but for the price, getting submersible trailer lights that are down and dirty and work, they seem great.
They are on my 4X8 utility trailer and they were easy to wire and install. They do come with wire nuts to make the wire connections and I replaced them with inline waterproof wire connectors but the wire nuts would have worked just fine. Again, overall, the kit had everything you would need to make these lights work.

Thank you for your review. It sounds like you have a classic ground issue. These particular lights ground through the mounting studs so make sure they are attached to a clean bare metal surface.

I wanted the LED trailer light set, however it was out of stock and eTrailer offered this as a lower priced substitute. It serves the purpose and bulb grease has kept the bulbs working, occasionally, since I have not used the trailer very often.

Ordered this with two new fenders for our Roadmaster RM3477 Tow Dolly. Both fenders had been destroyed due to blowouts. Replacing the fenders was easy and this wiring package made the lighting installation a snap. Highly recommended!

It took forever to get the parts I had ordered. And after speaking with someone to ensure the parts would match, I still received spindles and hubs that would not fit. I tried to call and email and got no response.

I had to replace the lights on my utility trailer. The Kit came complete with easy to follow directions. Everything matched up perfectly almost plug and play. It took about 3 hours to remove the old lights and install the new ones. The only extra thing I had to purchase was extra white ground wire. The length that came with the kit was a little short. All other wire was more than ample length. That is why it got 4 stars other than that minor thing it would have gotten 5 stars. I am not a big user but the people at e-trailer are professionals with great follow up. This is the 2nd time that I used them and I do not hesitate to recommend the company and people.

- Difference Between Trailer Taillight Kits that are for Over 80 inches in Width and Under 80 inchesThere are different taillight requirements for trailers that are over 80 inches in width vs. ones that aren't over 80 inches in width. If you check out the link I attached you will see all of these differenced highlighted.
