The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Today, we're taking a look at the Peterson LED identification light bar for trailers over 80 inches wide. This trailer light functions as an identification light bar. It features a sealed housing and lens unit. It does feature LEDs, so we have three light units with two LEDs per unit, so a total of six LEDs, two per light.LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer. They burn brighter.
They're much more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. Those lights sit on a stainless steel base, which is rust and corrosion resistant. It mounts to the surface of your trailer, so you've got a mount hole right here and a mount hole located right here.Now, on this unit we have a 60 inch lead wire. This is your main power wire, and then the unit grounds through your mounting hardware.
It's Department of Transportation compliant.Taking a look at the measurements real quick, starting with the overall length of the unit. So measuring edge to edge, it's going to give us a measurement of around 14 and one quarter inches long. Side to side right here, one and three sixteenths. And the overall depth, from the very back to the very front, gives a measurement of about one and one 16th inches deep. That's how far it sticks out from your installation surface.
The distance between your mount holes, center on center, is about eight and a half inches. Again, your lead wire length is 60 inches long.We're going to go and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. So, you can see here that it sends out a really nice, clear, consistent signal. We have two LEDs per light, so if we combine all of those, that's a total of six LEDs.

It's what I wanted but your packaging is not so good. You pack paper than put the product on top of paper no protection at all. The boxs was packaged badly to much tape and box was somewhat crushed
Product was fine but all in all could of been better.
