Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and a side marker light.

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're lookin' at our LED trailer clearance or side marker light. It's submersible with two amber diodes and a clear lens housing. So folks, again, this is a nice rectangular LED mini trailer light that functions as both a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. It's been sonically sealed, so it's gonna be waterproof and submersible. You can see this side here has the grounding plate already installed on it as well.
So when you put your screw through, or bolt, to install this in the trailer, it's going to get it to ground that way. And then the nine-inch lead here in yellow, you'll mount to or connect to the positive connector. It is DOT compliant, it's P-2 rated when it's mounted vertically, and PC rated when it's mounted horizontally. I'll throw some dimensions up on it while I'm gettin' my wiring. Now what we're gonna do is we're gonna light this up for you, that way you can see it in action.
And again, it's usin' 12-volt system. All right, so we're gonna go ahead and light this up for you. So there we've got Amber in the daytime, and let's turn off the overhead lights. And here we are in the dark. And I'll flash it a little bit here just by unpluggin' and pluggin' in my thing, just so you kinda get an idea of your eye relief and whatnot.
So very nice little light here. LEDs, as you know, are very bright, they're longer-lasting like I mentioned, They're just gonna give you an overall better performance, in my opinion, for the longevity of your trailer, and thus meaning less maintenance for you to have to worry about. The lenses is a durable polycarbonate housing and lens, so it's not gonna bust too easily on ya as far as bumpin' into things or whatnot. There's a lifetime warranty on the LEDs from the manufacturer, and it's two diodes, and at 12-volts it has a power draw of 0.5, or, I'm sorry, 0.05 to 0.07 amps. Well, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today, folks.
I'm Steven, thanks for watchin'.
