Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq 12 volt black aluminum load ramp light. Now this is a rectangular LED light that omit a nice powerful white light so that you can easily see your ramp while you're loading. Just wanna demonstrate we're gonna have hooked it up to some 12 volt power. Turn it on and you can see it's four LEDs with a light output of 2,000 lumens. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can just see how much light this stuff does give off.
Very bright light. The LEDs are energy efficient they're long lasting and vibration resistant. Now they are an aluminum construction. Let's turn the lights back on. We'll go ahead and turn off the power for right now.
And then we're just gonna zoom in on the light itself. It is an aluminum construction and you can see it has the built-in heat sink design to protect against overheating. Has a nice black powder coat finish to it to resist corrosion. Has an IP 68 rating and it is a surface mount design. It installs with two screws.
Now the screws are not included. You would have to supply those. If you notice, it does include the rubber gasket to help seal it when you install it and it will hardwire to your application. Comes with the two wires. We got it hooked up now, but it's two wires and the length of the wire's about nine inches.
It is 12 volt compatible. Overall dimension on the light itself, total length from one side to the other is gonna be right at about 7 1/8 inches. Overall height from the bottom to the very top, 1 5/8 inches tall. And then the total depth, gonna be right about 1 3/8 inches deep. Input voltage on this is 9 volts to 30 volts. Power draw at 12 volts is 1.3 to 1.9 amps. But again, just to show you how bright this is I'm gonna go ahead and turn the power on again. You can see how bright it is. We'll go ahead and turn off our overhead lights and then I'm gonna zoom back out just so you can see how much light it gives off and turn off our power, turn back on our overhead lights. But that should do it for the review on the TecNiq 12 volt black aluminum load ramp light.
