Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the 13-1/8" long Equalizer for 2" Wide Slipper Springs. Now this 13-1/8" long Equalizer will connect your Slipper Springs on tandem- or triple-axle trailers, and it transfers the impact between the axles to ensure that the load is evenly distributed. This is designed to fit springs with a 5/8" diameter eye. This will connect your slipper springs on dual- or triple-axle trailers. Basically you suspend this Equalizer from the center hanger. The center hangers we do sell separately on our website.
You attach one spring right over here with the bolt through the eye, and then you slip the arched spring of the other spring into this equalizer so that it will rest on the keeper bolts that go through these holes here, and again, all those items we do sell separately on our website.So this will transfer the load and sudden impacts from one axle to another, distributes the weight evenly, and results in a smooth ride for your trailer. This part is designed for new style 8,000 lb to 9,000 lb dextra axles. So a few specs on this. The overall length, we mentioned, is 13-1/8", so just to measure that, it goes from this end to that end. There's your 13-1/8".
Again it is designed to fit 2" wide slipper relief springs. The center bolt hole diameter right here is going to be 1", so it will attach it to your hanger. And then the side bolt diameter right over here for the mounting spring is 5/8's of an inch diameter. And then the two holes down here, these side bolt hole diameters is for the keeper bolts. They're 5/16's of an inch.

This is where I'm going to start the next time I'm need parts.
