Heavy-duty shackle straps ensure strength.My wife and I installed the Dexter EZ Flex Suspension kit on Grand Desin Imagine RV Thursday, July 18th, 2024. It took us about 6 hours but some of that time was getting our RV trailer jacked up and secured with jack stands. After the installation we greased all the wet bolts and the fittings on the EZ Flex equalizer. One problem we have is there is one Wet bolt that will not take grease, after several attempts. All others accepted grease but this one. We’re wondering if this one wet bolt is bad.
After one year of use I'm still very please with my dexter ezflex. Installing was relatively easy and satisfying because it came with everything one needs to change out the many parts of the suspension except the leaf springs. One disappointment is it's one inch shorter than my original steel equalizer. My wife and I new soon after starting one of our trips that there was something different " softer" in the ride we noticed. I would definitely in stall again.
We broke down on a Saturday near Cincinnati and couldn't find any parts, so I called etrailer and luckily they had a wet bolt kit in stock. They shipped it next day, which means business day, next day, aka Tuesday " thanks UPS ". I had the kit installed by a mobile mechanic and I was back on the road by 3:30pm.
Had to replace the axles and decided while there, just do the whole suspension too. Got the axles directly from Dexter but purchased the suspension kit from etrailer. Replacing the equalizer was the easiest part of this project and if I didn't have to replace the axles, probably would have had it done in under 2 hours. Time will tell how well it rides and the tires wear.
Best thing we ever did to our camper ! Our suspension is great now we can go down the highway with out thinking about it!
Ever one should check and update their suspension! What a difference in your ride !!!!

Everything is working fine we went from Pa. To California to Florida and back we spend 6 months a year on the road and have had no problems
I have not installed them yet, so I will update my review when I have tested the product. The kit looks great and is well built but the paint got rubbed off in a couple spots in the equalizers because there is only a piece of paper between them during shipping. Would an extra piece of cardboard cost that much to prevent this? Now I will have to touch up the paint before I install.

They soften the ride for the trailer. Less chance of damaging the axle/spindle set up
Really liked the kit as soon as I opened the box. Well made,& much beefier than stock. Went together pretty easy. Probably spent the most time figuring-out where to put the jacks. My bushings were completely worn-out, so I did have a bit of an alignment issue. That was completely on me. Due yourself a favor and don't wait too long like I did.
The results were very noticeable the first trip out. Took almost all of the slap out of the trailer suspension. Installed this kit on a 2003 Sierra 29f Fifth-Wheel toybox trailer. Primary useDirt Bike Mike is Off Road riding in the SoCal desert.

I had morryde LRE suspension system on my 5th wheel and it failed after several emails that I did not get a response to I ordered these, cut off my old suspension and installed these 2 days later i towed my camper 16 hours south and it worked great it eliminated the "bucking"i was experiencing overall way better system I'm very pleased

It is holding up very well
The EZ Flex suspension kit made my travel trailer ride much, much smoother. I can feel the bumps in the truck suspension, but I can no longer feel the bumps when the trailer goes over them. I believe they were a very good investment!
This eliminated the suspension squeak on my 12 year old 5th wheel. All of the plastic bushings were worn through.

Great
It seems to help with pot holes or large bumps, when I replaced old hanger bushings they were plastic trailer had 6000 miles on it and bushing were almost wore though. Good product buy hanger kit too.

After installing my new E-Z Flex Suspension kit a year ago I have travelled close to 25k with out any problems and it held up even after breaking a leaf spring and then later the leaf spring bracket that is welded to the frame. I am super impressed with this product and wonder why Heartland does not use it when they build there trailers.
I had these installed on my 2022 Grand Design Imagine 17MKE. I haven't had the trailer that long, but drove it back from TX for about 13 hours, and a little around town here in the Phoenix area. Since having the Dexter E-Z Suspension with wet bolts kit installed, I pulled it home, which was about an hour of driving. The trailer was noticeably smoother in pulling. I noticed less jarring, and it was smoother on my truck as well. I am towing with a Anderson WDH. I do not know about the condition of the OEM equalizer parts that were taken off, but I found this camper in like new condition, and dont expect there was much wear an tear on the original suspension. If anything changes, I will try and update this review.
The parts came in a timely manner and installation went as expected..... It is great to have greasable bolts!!!
If I actually could have received the parts that I paid excessively to have the shipped next day, I might have giving them more than one star. Instead, I am still broken down on the side of the road with no useful updates from etrailer staff. I should have known with these "online" companies. Buy local when you can folks.
I installed these on my striping trailer and frequently travel to other states. The trailer rides sooooo much better. The grease zerts and brass bushings keep it from being squeaky. I will put this on any new trailer that I buy.
Seems to be working well at taking away the big jolts from the road and giving a much smoother ride to my trailer. Way more substantial than the stock system that came on my trailer. It was about a 6 hour job for me to do myself, from begining to end. That's including getting all my tools ready, cribbing the frame, clean up, etc.
If you have a stock equalizer suspension I highly recommend this product!
Installed these on my camper. Ride is much smoother over bumps and bad roads.
Used their chat feature for help putting together a non-standard dual axle equalizer/shackle package w the larger 7.75" EZ-flex and also needed the longer 3.125 shackle. Recommended the Morryde wet bolt set up. etrailer went the extra yard and provided a free return label to correct a mistake in the order and everything ships FAST. Will use etrailer again. Thanks
Great product. As an industrial designer (retired), ...kept the machine shop, I dread the quality of pretty much everything I order. Sure, one bronze bushing needed to be pressed in further and a nut was missing due to UPS's classic handling, but the end product can only be described as 'OVERKILL'. Thanks for saving one very poorly designed Lamar dump load trailer ...requiring an axle flip to have any suspension travel at all.

Totally wowed by etrailer’s service!! Ordered Tuesday afternoon, delivered Wednesday, free shipping! Who does that? Camping World got me in Thursday morning and I drove it back home same afternoon.
This unit makes a noticeable difference in the tow quality. Most noticeable on hard bumps, but even expansion joints, dips, and cracks are sooo much smoother. Eliminated chucking, and just felt like the trailer was riding as smooth as the truck. Worth every dime!

So far so good, and its easy to maintain. Although sometimes I wonder if the grease is getting too some of the bushings
