Absorbs Road Shock and Reduces Chucking

Upgrade your trailer's suspension for a smoother ride with these cushioned Equa-Flex equalizers. These units deliver a ride as smooth as you'd get with torsion axles, but at a fraction of the cost. The rubber cores effectively absorb vibrations and bumps and reduce the back-and-forth movement known as chucking. Unlike standard cast equalizers, the Equa-Flex's rubber cores soak up this energy like a sponge instead of transferring it to your trailer and cargo. The result is a more comfortable ride with less wear and tear on your trailer.

Easy Installation

Illustration of a tandem axle trailer suspension system

It's easy to upgrade your trailer's standard suspension with a set of cushioned Equa-Flex equalizers. You will need 10 standard suspension bolts and 8 shackle straps (each sold separately) to incorporate the equalizers into your trailer's suspension system. Two of the suspension bolts will be used to suspend the equalizers from the center hangers, and the other 8 bolts will be used with the shackle straps to attach the equalizers to the double-eye leaf springs. If you would like to replace the bolts that attach the springs to your front and rear hangers as well, you will need 4 additional suspension bolts (sold separately).

  • Upgraded Equalizer for 2010 Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer With 4,400 Pound Axles
If you would like to add the Equa-Flex to your 2010 Keystone Cougar you will need the # LC279687. The # LC279688 is designed for 6,000-8,000 lb axles so it would be overrated for your trailer. The # LC279687 is for 3,000-6,000 lb axles. You will want to measure the eye to eye length of your existing equalizers to make sure this is a good fit for your trailer. The # LC279687 measures 5-1/2" long. As long as your measurement is close to this then it will work well for an upgrade. If your...

  • Installation Bolts for Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers
You will need at least 10 bolts for the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687, and those bolts are the Zinc Shackle Bolt with Locknut for Double-Eye Springs # TRFA73Z916DLNZ. The reason I say "at least" 10 is because you would need additional bolts if you wanted to replace the bolts that attach your leaf springs to your hangers. What I recommend is getting all of the necessary bolts, shackle straps and nuts with one kit that is designed to work with the Equa-Flex, the Lippert Components...

  • Picking Out Lippert Equa-Flex for Genesis Supreme Toy Hauler
Your best solution will be the Equa-Flex equalizer set part # LC279688 which matches the capacity you need as that's the most important factor. To allow you to still have the correct shackle angle on your leaf springs you'll want to move your hangers to accommodate these.

  • Recommended Shock Absorption for Keystone Montana 5th Wheel with Tandem Axles
Trailer suspension uses different components for the air systems than the frame mounted suspension you are looking at. For your tandem axle Keystone Montana, I recommend the Lippert Components Trailair by Center Point Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle # LC1565391 which will give you adjustable air pressure in the form of an equalizer for your leaf springs. If you want a trailer with air suspension, this is the way to go with adjustable air springs that can use manual valves or...

  • Replacement Leaf Springs and Shackles for 2014 Evergreen Amped 28FS Toy Hauler
MORryde does have a suspension upgrade kit that I highly recommend. It comes with 1/2" thick shackles, along with wet bolts and bronze bushings. You will want to choose a kit based on the length of your current shackles. For 2-1/4" you need the # MR46ZR and for 3-1/8" the # MR76ZR. For replacement leaf springs you will need to know your axle capacity along with your spring eye to spring eye measurement. Your current leaf springs will be slightly elongated since they flatten over time so...

  • Is There an Equa-Flex Equalizer Kit that Fits 2015 Eclipse Attitude 32SAG
The best way to determine if the Equa Flex kit part # LC279688 you referenced is going to fit is to compare it's dimensions to the dimensions of the equalizers you currently have. If they are the same or very close then they will work. I attached a picture of the dimensions of this for you to check out as well. If you have dimensions that are different let me know what you have and I'll see what the best option is.

  • Can 6K Springs be Upgraded to 7K Springs on a Grand Design 320X
Thanks for reaching out, Stan! Normally we recommend sticking with the same weight rating, but upgrading to 7K springs for a 6K axle isn't too much of a jump so you'll be just fine doing that. If you can let me know what the center eye to center eye length is without weight on the springs (as best you can) I can make a replacement recommendation for you!

  • Cushioned Equalizer Recommendation to Replace TREQ104 Equalizers
Best option for a cushioned equalizer kit to replace a equalizer part # TREQ104 would be the EZ Flex part # K71-652-00 which matches closely to the dimensions you have, does an excellent job cushioning the trailer suspension and comes with wet bolts like you are looking for.

  • comparing Dexter E-Z Flex and Lippert Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers
Besides the obvious design differences there isn't much difference in how the E-Z Flex and Equa-Flex # LC279687 work or how well each one works. If I had to quantify it I would say that the Equa-Flex would stiffen things up a little more compared to the E-Z Flex. In general the E-Z Flex takes up less space so if there is anything in the general area that may get interfered with then the E-Z Flex is the better option.

  • Comparing Equa-Flex and Road Armor Equalizers For 2000 Forest River WIldwood W/ 5200lb Axles
Your trailer looks awesome! The Road armor equalizers # LC696740 and Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 are both pretty similar in performance even though the Road Armor has two dampers. The main difference is the size of the equalizers. The Road Armor # LC696740 is 6" long measured from the center of one horizontal mounting hole to the center of the other horizontal mounting hole, and 3-1/2" from the center of the upper hole the center line of the two lower mounting holes as shown...

  • Replacement Equalizer For A 2023 Keystone Cougar 2700BH
Hey Tom, I can definitely provide measurements and dimensions for the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizer # LC279687 and I have attached those dimensions below. Unfortunately, there is no database that we can reference that will tell us exactly what size equalizer is currently on your 2023 Keystone Cougar 2700BH. The two main dimensions we look at when replacing an equalizer are the height and width. The # LC279687 is 2-1/2" tall and 5-1/2" wide. You will want to take these measurements and...

  • Equa Flex Equalizer Replacement Recommendation for TruRyde Equalizer TREQ310
You can replace the TruRyde Triangular Equalizer # TREQ310 with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688, however there are a few things that you should take note of. First of all you will want to make sure that your axles are rated for 6K to 8K otherwise the ride will be too stiff. The second thing to notice is the dimensions of the centers of the eyes where your bolts will go. The TruRyde measures a width of 6-1/16" and a height of 4" while the Equa-Flex has a measurement of 7-1/2"...

  • Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers and MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for 2018 Jayco J-Flight 33RBTS
Hi Bernie; the LCI52 designates these as 5,200 lb axles but that is further specified as 5,145 lbs since they're probably custom so you are correct. You can use the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 but you need to measure your current equalizers first. The most important thing when choosing an upgraded equalizer is making sure it matches or closely matches your existing equalizer. The measurement you're looking for is the distance between the left and right bolt holes (center...

But you'll need to compare the dimensions of what you have to the picture I attached to make sure these are the same so they'll fit. Hey James, If you have standard equalizers with a 5-3/4" horizontal and 2" vertical measurement then the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 would be the correct replacement for you. If you're saying that you already have those and are wanting something else then you can go with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687. • Can The # TREQ310 Be Replaced With The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687
Hi Lee, The # TREQ310 has a 4" vertical spacing compared to the Equa-Flex's # LC279687 2-1/2" spacing so that would cause an issue with your height. With the spacings for this equalizer the other options we offer would either decrease the height or require you to rework your leaf springs, shackle straps, and possibly hangers to fit the new spacings. The closest option we offer would be the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740, which has a 3-1/4" height. You could go with...

The # MR89DR is designed for a trailer with a 35" wheelbase. It also requires 15" or larger wheels for an overslung axle and 16" or larger for an underslung.
