Bias Tires vs. Radial Tires
Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

I know, it is just a spare. But necessary for my trailer to have, since it has but 1 wheel. This review is based exclusively on the amazing performance and customer service of etrailer.
I recently purchased a 2” receiver for my Prius, and that was noted by etrailer, and they expedited the shipment of this spare because I was a return customer, and someone there took the time to not only write an email saying so, they responded to my note of surprise and gratitude.

I had never used this company before but am extremely pleased with the price and the service. I took advantage of a free shipping offer as well. That really helped as two tires and wheels can be very heavy. I don't know how etrailer is making any money on me this time. As for the product itself, I couldn't be more pleased. I checked the date code on the tires and found them to be produced about two months before delivery. I will use this company again.

Still very pleased with the wheels and tires. They fit perfectly to my small popup trailer and their appearance beats the heck out of the rusted 36 year old wheels I had on there before. My restoration project popup trailer feels safer with those new wheels and tires. Kenda tires are a well known brand so I expect a long life. I also appreciate etrailer.com for getting back with me a year after the purchase.

Had old motorcycle trailer that needed to be freshened up. Learned the hard way that old tires can be a problem. Matched old tires with these as a replacement. Quick delivery along with new hubs and bearings. Tires went on trailer and did 600 mile round trip with two dirt bikes on trailer without any problems. So far so good. The wheels are nice and mount up nice. Tubes/ tires hold air, no leak down etc. always check the pressure and they’re always right on.The tires seem to be pretty quality, although even with less than 500mi on them now the tires do have some visible wear, and never ran them with much weight on my trailer. But at this price, it’s easy and cheap to keep a spare on hand and ready just in case.

These are "Load Star" branded tires, that are, I assume, made by Kenda. I know them from motor cycle circles and are labeled "High Speed". I'll try them out. They look pretty good to me! Wheels are powder coated and contain no sharp or protruding edges. They even arrived pumped up to the maximum pressure. Thanks, etrailer!

Not a Product Review. After all it is a Tire. Wheel appears to be well coated for rust resistance. Only repeated dunking into saltwater will tell.
I almost never give 5 Stars. In this case it reflects purely on their Sales Dept. Communications was great. From the first one telling me that my purchased choice would take more than a month, to correction of the Order when UPS lost 1 of the 2 Tires ordered, thru to the very fast replacement of the lost Tire.
