Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

We will see how well they hold up long term, but this tire and wheel combo was just barely more than the tires alone so I decided to replace the whole unit. My originals are starting to rust after 20 years so if I get close to that out of the wheels themselves I'll be happy. I hope the tires last 5 at least. A generic set of tires I bought last time didn't last 3 years in the sun.
Only negative is I wish the valve stems were slightly shorter. They stick out past the width of the wheel just barely and it seems they would be more vulnerable.

George, the tires dont show any signs of dry rot nor have went flat. The wheels dont show any rust yet. I wouldnt think either would have in just a year but thus far they are holding up great. As an aside, the local big box store] specials tires that were previously on that trailer dry rotted in 2 years and both failed on the same trip and really dinged up one of the wheels. It was usable, but rim dinged. Lets just say they wont ever see my trailers again. While I havent bought a lot from etrailer.com what I have bought seems to be priced about like some of the local budget brand stuff but seems like better quality stuff. Not premium, but good. I do wish etrailer.com carried more DIY small lawn cart type parts. I want to convert a small tire 2 wheel 15k generator to a larger/wider 4 wheel design with removable tow bar for lawn mower.

Best price I found for galvanized rim tire for saltwater fishing. Arrived in just 3 days well packaged and the tire appears to be good quality. Will definitely be checking etrailer.com for future needs.
The package came on time and in great c ondition.
Pretty thin rims, a little rough on the galvo finish but overall a good deal for the money.
Wheels look great! Can't wait to finish my trailer build and put these on it! Come on April!

Fit nicely , replaced 8” worn tires and wheels . Handled several 350 mile trips with loaded 4x8 trailer well, tires didn’t bulge with weight.
Bought these for my kayak fishing trailer. Have driven from Midwest to FL twice and SC once on these tires. No problems at all. Work very well.
I've had these for a year now, and I'm happy with them. I use the utility trailer about 10 times a year for various things like camping, hauling motorcycles, taking things to the dump etc. The trailer is outside all the time and the galvanized treatment is working great no signs of rust at all, they still look new. Tires are holding up well with little wear and the tubes inside must be good quality as the air pressure stay very constant. I would buy these again for sure.

The tires on these rims are really narrow. My older set were wider but the same diameter. They do fit well and work fine on my 3 rail motorcycle trailer.

I guess Kenda and loadstar is one in the same,my tires said Loadstar on the side.
i dont care about that and its a nice tire and wheel and looks like it will last a long time,fits my boat trailer and replaces worn and dry rotted tires and rusted wheels.
Wheels look better than the trailer.

Wheel/tire package arrived two business days after ordering and were packaged in a very heavy duty cardboard container which was very impressive. This was the best packaging I've ever seen for such a large mail item - credit to etrailer for not skimping out on this, especially considering it was FREE shipping. Not much to say about the wheels and tires, they are as advertised, look nice, and will be a huge improvement over the 8 inchers that came with my trailer package. I definitely will use etrailer again in the future.
