This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Lionshead 15 inch by six inch Aluminum Osprey Trailer Wheel, has a six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern and a matte black machine finish. Now, this is an aluminum wheel, it's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And we mentioned it's the Osprey series, which you can see is a split six-spokes design in a matte black finish. And then the machined edge of the spoke, and they machined the lip also, gives it a nice shine to it. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front, help protect from scuffs and scratches.
And the other nice feature on this wheel that I really like is the steel inserts in these lug nut wells. And this is to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you put your lug nut in there and tighten it down, prevents the holes from wearing down, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. If you noticed, the valve stem is included. Now, the center cap which goes in here, it is not included.
If you do want one, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.25 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications, and the SAE J1204 standards. They do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years.
They'll give you flat tire service available 24/7, anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. Few measurements on this wheel. If we measure the diameter, the diameter will always be measured inside to inside where the beads will seat of the tire. So if we go inside to inside, there's your 15 inch diameter. The width, six inches wide, and it's measured the same way, it's inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat.
There's your six inch measurement. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, it's pretty easy, 'cause the lug holes are directly across from each other. So when you go to measure your bolt pattern, pick any hole, let's say this one. Measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. On this wheel, it'll measure 5 1/2 inches. So it's a six lug, 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Lionshead 15 inch by six inch Aluminum Osprey Trailer Wheel with the six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
