This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Lionshead 15 inch by 6 inch Eagle glossy black aluminum trailer wheel with the 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rust proof. And as we mentioned, it is at the Eagle Series wheel, which is a split six-spoke design, has the glossy black finish to it. And then if you notice on the edge of the spokes and partially on the lip, they do have a machine face to 'em to get a little bit of a shine to the wheel.
They do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front, helps protect from scuffs and scratches. And one of the neat, nice features I like on this wheel is it uses steel inserts in the lug nut wells here. And what that does is it helps to keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you install this on the hub, put this over the studs, put your lug nuts on there and torque 'em down, those steel inserts in there will prevent those holes from elongating, so eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts. They do offer a complimentary roadside assistance for two years.
Also, flat tire services available 24/7 anywhere in the U.S., Canada, or Puerto Rico. Now, if you do notice on here, they do include the valve stem, which is installed right over here. Now, the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same pilot, or same diameter as the pilot hole right here.
'Cause when you install your center cap, it'll install from the rear through this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.25 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAEJ J1204 standards. A few specs on this, we're gonna measure the diameter and the width. And when you measure the diameter of the wheel, it's always measured inside the inside.
So if we take our tape measure, and if we go inside to inside, you'll be able to see there's your 15 inch diameter. The width will be measured same way, it's bead seat to bead seat, or inside to inside, six inches wide. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs. Like in this case, six. It's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other. So it makes it easier to measure. So when you measure, you just pick any hole, let's say this one, and then you'll measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the whole right across from it. So on this, it'll measure 5 1/2 inches. So that means this is a six-lug, 5 1/2 inch wheel. Wheel lug size used on this is 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Lionshead 15 inch by 6 inch Eagle glossy black aluminum trailer wheel with the 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
