This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Today we're going to take a look at the Taskmaster 15" X 6", black machined Aluminum Viking Series, Valhalla Trailer Wheel, like the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight and rustproof. It is the Viking Series Valhalla Wheel, which is a five spoke design and a matte black finish. It has a machined face on the spokes and a machined highlight here on the edge, provides a nice bold, sleek look to the wheel. The front and the back of the wheel has a nice glossy clear coating over it to protect the wheel and they do use steel inserts in the lug nut wells to help keep your wheel securely in place on the trailer hub, and it also prevents the holes from wearing down or elongating, eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts.
Now the center cap right here and the valve stem, they are all included.This wheel does meet the SAE J1204 standards. A few specs on this wheel, the diameter is going to be 15" and when we measure that, that's always measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure and if we go inside to inside there's your 15" diameter. The width on the wheel is the same way. It's inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, that's going to be right at 6".
So 15" diameter X 6" wide bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6 on 5-1/2" inch bolt pattern.And if you want to measure that on a wheel like this, that's an even number of lug, it's pretty simple. You just pick one of the holes, let's say this one and then you'll measure from this hole directly across to this hole right across from it. And you'll go center to center center of this hole to the center of that hole. This wheel will measure 5-1/2", so 6 lug, 5-1/21" bolt pattern. This wheel does use a wheel lug size of a 1/2" X 20.
Weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds. And the pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center of the wheel, goes over the hub on your trailer, that's 4.25".And again, you can take your nice center cap here, slides in from the back, push it all the way in, and then you install your wheel on your trailer and you're all ready to go.But that should do it for the review on the taskmaster 15" X 6" black machined Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Trailer Wheel, with the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.

Wheels were a nice touch to replace the outdated steel wheels on my toy hauler.
Wrong wheel shipped. Company then told me the original wheel was now on backorder. I could not get a refund until they received the erroneously shipped wheel back....smh.
Very dissatisfied that I was able to place an order, be charged, only to have the wrong item shipped.

Initial delivery took about 2 1/2 weeks one of the rims of the four was a 16 inch rim instead of a 15 I contacted the company and they immediately shipped me the right size within a few days and the new rims really look nice Price was beat by any other competitors.
