Provider Radials with Automotive-Grade Tread

Provider Tread Vs Standard Tread

Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Provider radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Provider tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

No concerns. Serving me well, a good investment.

Very happy with these tires from etrailer.com. I'm in construction and use them on my 16 ft. utility trailer and they r on the road working nearly ever day on the year just like me and the rest of the crew. They are wearing well after one year and I'm ready to purchase a set for the other side. I got this pair after a blow out on the freeway. My pictures will show I lost tread on the rear tire that took off my entire fender. Replacing it be my next purchase. I certainly recommend them to everyone I know. Etrailers service, pricing and professionalism will keep me returning to their site. I have purchased running lights and a few other items for my trailer from these folks. For me it so much easier to have all u need at one site why go anywhere else. Most online companies have figured out fast delivery and etrailer on it. I click...it comes to my door.

Since I had wrote an earlier review the trailer in shown was rear ended at a high speed and was totaled. The good news is these tires were running great so I pulled them off and installed them on another trailer. There still have plenty of tread and are still in service. I recommended etrailer and these tries a year ago and still recommended them now. Thanks etrailer. Good job.

by:

I was looking for a tire to replace one that had a large cotter pin stuck in it. I wanted to match the other 3 tires on the flatbed trailer I use to transport my compact tractor as closely as possible because the other tires were relatively new and still in good shape. etrailer.com had an exact match, so I bought 2 tires. I was glad etrailer.com had the same tire I needed to replace. The tires I ordered were delivered in just a few days.

by:

I've had these tires on my trailer for a year now. I use my trailer every week! These tires have made a smooth ride for my trailer and given me the dependability and confidence that I expected when I bought them.

Timely delivery, good customer service and quality tires with fair price

You guys the best.

(buying these tires again because they "cheap" and high quality.pulling the trailer for living, after 3 years i can tell this with confidence.
And yes next set of 4 will buy here again.

I chose the Taskmaster ST radial tire for its speed rating, ride quality and highway handling. The ratings I read placed it a close second to the Maxxis ST radial which I consider the best ST radial. The Taskmaster is priced so attractively I couldn't pass it up. Along with the tires I purchased new Dexstar wheels which were a direct replacement for the wheels on my trailer. The old wheels had weathered from the Az sun and had many miles on them. The great price e-trailer offers these wheels for made my decision an easy one. I chose the Provider tire and silver mod wheel combination for my spare setup. The provider tire is nearly identical to the Taskmaster and the mod wheel it came mounted on is also very similar to the Dexstar wheel I purchased. This is a quality setup at a great price. My overall experience at e-trailer was exceptional. Great prices, rapid, properly packaged shipping with outstanding follow up and customer service. I highly recommend this company!

The Taskmaster tires are the best trailer tires Ive ever used. The ride quality as far better than any bias ply trailer tire and the traction is better due to tire design. I also feel a lot better about running 65 MPH on these tires. Ill buy them again!

by:

I am extremely happy with my order. It was fast and easy. Thank you for the follow up emails that gave me peace of mind. I will definitely order from you in the future. Great job!

Easy to find what I was looking for and delivery was fast!

I'm very pleased with all of my purchases from eTrailer. Everything has seemed to be of excellent quality and value. The wiring kits and directions were very well thought out and one of the projects I completed would not have been possible had it not been for the excellent videos on the website.

I'm an eTrailer customer for life!

I have not had any problems with the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tires. They seem to be wearing well. I am considering ordering another set for my other trailer. etrailer has a great selection of tires and delivery was quick. Thanks etrailer.

by:

I ordered 4 of these to put on my pull behind camp trailer. The trailer weighs 6,000lbs empty and I add 60 gallons of fresh water (approximately 480lbs) plus other stuff. I would guess loaded it would be around 7,000lbs. I drive between 60 and 70mph with no tracking issues. I've put about 1,500 miles on them and they're still looking good and have had no issues. Dealing with eTrailer was effortless delivery time was as expected. I mounted them myself, I have access to a tire machine so that was not an issue for me. I am very happy with them.

by:

i haven't traveled with these yet, but expectations are totally positive. These are among only a couple of models with a speed rating (M- 81MPH) that will give me peace making use of the 75 MPH limits here. I am surprised these are not available locally, but dealing with etrailer was so straightforward it doesn't really matter.

etrailer promptly shipped all 5 tires as a group of individual boxes, and the parcel service's processes didn't keep them all together. I received three tires on Friday, and due to the holiday weekend, didn't see the other two until the following Tuesday! The carrier's tracking system statused them as 'Delivered' on Friday. I don't know how frequently that happens.

Anyway, etrailer answered all my questions in detail prior to purchase. I'm pleased with the responsiveness and efficient business operation, and I will be back.

by:

These tires were what I was looking for! I installed them on my RV and are holding up great! etrailer.com is definitely the way to go when you need a tire for your RV or utility trailer. etrailer.com provides all the info needed, bolt pattern, and weight limit , etc. I cannot find this type of help or information locally. And, reasonable price and free shipping is just awesome!

by:

I ordered 4 tires for my travel trailer. My order was delayed until the tires were shipped to Etrailer from the tire manufacturer. This was not a problem for me because I didn't need them immediately. What I really appreciated was that I got a phone call and email from etrailer just to let me know that my order would be delayed and making sure that this wouldn't be a problem. Etrailer is great to work with, always accountable, courteous, and there to help with any questions you may have! Great company! Oh yeah....the tires are great too!

by:

Ordered two tires, one of them was the wrong size. Because of this my business was halted until I had to pay more to get a new tire from a local business. E-trailer sent me a new tire with instructions to send back the new one that went to my spam folder and I didn't see until it was too late. They charged my credit card for the replacement tire because I had not returned the bad one. So essentially I had to buy 3 tires total to get the 1 that I needed. If it were my business, I would have just written off the mistake in the first place and kept business going.

by:

Exactly what I ordered. Needed new tires and a spare, the order was completely correct with 5 on 5 lug pattern on the tire/wheel combo. This is how suppliers earn trust from their customers, and the fast delivery is a big plus. I will return for more items as I need them....GREAT JOB etrailer.com!!!

by:

Excelente quality of tire.. I used my trailer almost everything for landscaping jobs . And these tires are holding up pretty good…

by:

So far so good. Just received my tires and will be having them installed later this week. The value was great and delivery was actually sooner than expected. I can't wait to get on the road

by:

Ordering trailer tire doesn’t get any e asier.
