This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
The standard tread on this tire has solid, continuous ribs, and there are very few sipes (or thin grooves) cut into the rubber. This tire is designed for use on trailers, so it doesn't require the level of traction that would be needed on a vehicle that is braking or steering.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Westlake ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D and it's mounted on this 15 inch matte black Eagle Series aluminum wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. The wheel they use it is an aluminum wheel. It is very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And we mentioned it is the Eagle Series, which you can see is a multi-spoke design, has a nice matte black finish on the front and even on the back of the wheel.
And also on the front, they use an automotive-grade clear coat to protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. Now, the measurement on this wheel, the diameter is gonna be 15 inches. The width on just the wheel by itself is six inches wide. Now, this wheel does have a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches. And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case five, it's a little more difficult than a wheel with an even number of lugs because on the odd lugs, the lug holes are not directly across from each other.
But the way you can measure it on a five-lug wheel is pick any hole, let's say pick this one, and then you'll measure across to either one of these holes, but when you measure it, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one, if we measured it, it'd be 4-1/2 inches. So that means this is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20. Weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,150 pounds.
And if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. And you do wanna make sure to get a center cap that has the same diameter as this pilot hole right here. Because when you install it, the center cap will install through that hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches.
Now, the tire that's mounted on this wheel is a Westlake radial tire. So it is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester plies for nice long life. They do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay around the tire to help prevent tread separation. And it is a radial ply tire so it is great for highway use. This is also an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire, has the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads and it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on any other vehicles. Now the tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, right here ST for Special Trailer 205/75R15. The R means it's a radial. Section width eight inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 27.1 inches. We mentioned this tire is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 2,150 pounds at 65 PSI this tire wheel. This tire and wheel assembly does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications. And this does have a speed rating and they stamp that on the sidewall, but it is stamped with a letter designation. And where you find that is right after the tire size, you'll see two numbers for the load index and then a letter L. Speed rating L will mean this has a 75 mile per hour speed rating. Now, they do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Westlake ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D on this 15 inch matte black Eagle Series aluminum wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
