This heavy-duty coupler lock obstructs access to your trailer coupler to prevent would-be thieves from hitching your trailer to their tow vehicle and driving off with your gear.
The lock is constructed of extruded, tempered aluminum, making it strong and durable. The lock housing features a double nickel chrome finish, and the shuttered keyhole protects the inside of the lock from the elements. Complete with a silver powder coat finish, this coupler lock is attractive, sturdy, and rust resistant.
To install this lock on your coupler, insert the key and rotate it to release the locking pin. Slide the lock body onto the flat lip of your trailer coupler. Push the locking pin into the hitch ball socket to engage, rotate the key back to lock the pin in place, and remove the key.

This inexpensive little trailer lock from etrailer works great. It is quick and easy to install and remove. Its sturdy aluminum construction makes it a formidable theft deterrent. I could not be happier with this purchase.
Excellent product. We have a problem with trailers being stolen and this sure stops that from happening.
Fits and in now protecting the trailer as it sits in the yard.

Fits great on my big tex trailer with 2” ball hitch. Not sledge hammer proof, but would be difficult and noisy to pry off with a big bar. Uses normal cut keys too, so little chance of breaking the key off or stripping a round hex key. It is made of aluminum, which is great for corrosion resistance, but steel might be stronger. The locking pin is stainless steel though. Nice powder coat finish, too.

After a year, the lock is still in good shape after being outside the whole time. No rust or other issues, opens and closes fine. Still provides an extra layer of security for my trailer.
Outstanding transaction easy to use keyed alike looks great
Key is thin and flimsy - bent easily then broke off inside coupler (luckily I managed to remove it). HOWEVER - etrailer was great about getting me a replacement key. I was blown away by how helpful Kim was to make sure I was taken care of!)

Does not fit my 2” flat lip trailer! Not even close to fitting!
Smaller size wouldn’t fit and next lager size fell off.
Ordered this product keyed alike with two other locks. Mistakingly, this was not sent keyed alike as the other two. Called Etrialer and immediately they acknowledged the mistake and processed the order to ship me the product keyed alike. I will be taking my boat on a trip this weekend and they even offered tk have it shipped to where I would be. Customer Service is always excellent. Thats why they are always my first choice and I always buy from them.
This is a new product to me with limited use this far, but so far so good as to how they work protecting my goods.

Still looks great. No rust no complaints
This product fits my Yakima "Rack and Roll" kayak trailer extremely well. I assume it will prove a reasonable deterrent to someone trying to make off with it.
Four Stars because nobody has tried to steal it. Yet. However, I'm pleased with the fit on my 1 7/8" trailer tongue. I feel pretty sure a sledge hammer would knock it off, but how many thieves are packin' sledge hammers?! I also put a Masterlock on the trailer latch. At this point, I would recommend both!
The Blockhead Coupler Lock is a well-made product that provides a greater sense of security for my Teardrop Trailer. I felt that a padlock was security enough until I purchased this product. I feel more confident about the security of my trailer when I leave it on its own. I like having a secure lock made of tempered aluminum rather than steel.
Product fit like it was intended,easy to use and will help keep the trailer secure,great customer service as always
This lock works great for my boat trailer that has a "lip" on the hitch.

This is an amazing product
Of coupler lock styles, this one is the hardest to defeat by a thief. Just don't lose the keys. Excellent quality and ease of use.
The items are fine. However, you did not send me "keyed alike" units, as I ordered. They use different keys.

I have been using this Trailer Coupler Lock from etrailor for over a year now and I am completely satisfied with its performance. It is very easy to use and has proven to be an effective theft deterrent. I would happily buy it again.
