Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this CURT 4-way flat magnetic connector adapter. Now this adapter is going to let you easily convert your existing 4-way flat into a magnetic quick-snap connection. Now as you can see, I do have this adapter already connected. And just trying to pull this apart, I feel that this has a really strong magnetic connection, so this is not going to easily just come apart while you're towing. But then when you are ready to disconnect, all you have to do is twist, and then it comes right apart just like that.

So it's going to hold very well for you. It's got a very strong magnetic connection. They are interlocking. And again, you're just simply going to twist this to disconnect. Now I wanna give you a brief demonstration of how you're gonna hook this up.

So you're not gonna have to worry about splicing into your wiring or anything like that. So I'm gonna get some plugs here. I'm gonna get one plug to use as an example for the plug coming off of the back of my vehicle, and then another plug that comes off my trailer. And typically, when you're ready to connect your trailer in your vehicle, you do this, and you always wanna make sure you've got a good connection. And then when you're ready to disconnect, you've gotta give a pretty good pull here to pull that apart.

Sometimes that can take some doing just like that. But this adapter is going to eliminate struggling with the wiring. So I'm gonna take this part of the adapter and plug it into the plug coming off of my trailer just like that. And then I'm gonna take this end and plug it into the plug coming off of my vehicle just like that. So I've got good connections on both.

By the way, the part that's the adapter that's coming off of the back of my vehicle has this really nice tethered cap to cover up those connection points when this is not in use. So that's a great addition. So as you can see, we have these flat connection surfaces that are gonna be very easy to keep clean. And those connection points are corrosion resistant, so you're not gonna have to worry about these corroding or anything like that. And then if you do happen to get something on it, it's gonna be very easy to wipe. And then when you're ready to connect, it's gonna be just that simple. And again, that strong magnetic connection. Now, you might be wondering if you can use this in all weather conditions, and you can. There are no pockets or crevices or holes for debris to accumulate. This adapter has been tested in harsh conditions, passing a 500-hour salt spray and vibration test to deliver dependable power in any weather. So this is going to be able to be used in all weather conditions. So if you are looking for just a great way to make it all the more easier to hook up your 4-way flat connector and you're not gonna have to worry about making sure that the plugs are secure and then struggling to unplug it, this is really gonna be a great option to consider. I'm a big fan of this adapter. I'm a big fan of anything that makes my life easier, and this definitely is going to fit that bill. This is made of durable plastic, so again, it's gonna hold up really well for you. I do like that it has that tethered cap to keep the connection points coming off the back of your vehicle nice and clean. And so it's gonna look good on the back of your vehicle as well.
