Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Curt Replacement 7-way RV Style and 4-way Flat OEM USCAR Trailer Connector. Now, this part here will replace the OEM connector to provide a 4-way and a 7-way trailer wiring connection, and it is designed to fit the USCAR-equipped vehicles with the factory tow plugs only. Now, the 4-way flat output right here will connect your taillights, brake lights, and turn signals, and then the 7-way blade socket will do those three, and also add reverse lights, electric brakes, and auxiliary power. Now, on the caps, they do use nice rubber gaskets that'll help keep the moisture and the elements out when the cap is closed, and they are spring loaded, you can see, so that will keep them closed, keeps the connectors clean when they're not in use, and they also use pre-greased terminals for a nice reliable connection. But that should do it for the review on this Curt Replacement 7-way RV Style and 4-way Flat OEM USCAR Trailer Connector..

Plugs into USCAR socket.Well this is where the fly gets in the mix. The reason I ordered the plug and module is because this Highlander did not come with tow package and I had to start from zero. I have no way of connecting this product to the car. Is there a plug that will connect this product to the factory connector under the vehicle.
Connector is much more robust than OEM on my 2015 Sierra. Plug and play.
E-Trailer customer service is great. Price is a little steeper than competition, but I think it translates to a better product.

I am afraid there is not an adapter that will connect the Curt connector to the 2022 Toyota Highlander. What I recommend is part # 37185 which will give you a 7- and 4-way connector. It will allow you to run the lights on a trailer with a 7-way connector. I can have our Customer Service team contact you if are interested in returning the Curt connector.
