Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff @etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the 7-way Round Pin to 7-way Blade Trailer Connector Adapter, with the nice dust cover. Now this adapter will convert your 7-way Round Pin Connector that's on your vehicle to a 7-way RV Style Blade Connector on your trailer. It has this nice built-in cover, which will protect that 7-way blade end from any dirt or moisture getting in there causing any damage. The hinge cover itself, you can see opens about 90 degrees for a nice effortless connection.
The pull grips right here that are on the 7-way Round Pin Connector, make this plug easy to install and remove.This is all an ABS plastic construction. It's very strong and durable. If you notice, it has a nice flexible wire between both plugs, which provide a nice wide range of motion. Overall length on this from this end, all the way to this end. We get our tape measure up.
So we're right at 14 inches. The length between the two plugs, it's going to be right at about six inches. Now, one note I do want to mention is due to the variety of wiring applications on the 7-way Round Plug, you must use an electrical tester to establish proper match of the vehicles wiring to the trailers wiring. But that should do it for the review on the 7-way Round Pin to 7-way Blade Trailer Connector Adapter, with the nice dust cover.

This pigtail is of good quality, and worth the little extra $ over cheaper variants. Works the treat in connecting our road trailers to our farm tractor so we have lights and turn signals for our on road transits of these trailers w our Farm tractor. Dump trailers, horse trailers, flat bed trailers etc.
Bought to connect trailer wiring to aJohn Deere 5075. Checking wires now just in case I need to switch any wires as suggested on note attached to the connector. Left turn right turn are correct. Think the 12v needs to be switched, I think its wired to electic trailer brakes. Excellent product.
I am using these adapters to allow Custer wireless rechargeable tail lights to function on the back of my farm silage wagons when hauling from the chopper. The sending units for the lights are “ truck type” 7 pin flat whereas tractors are 7 pin round. A possible suggestion would be to make the cord on the adapter about 5 feet long to allow the transmitter to be located higher on the cab post and out of the heavy steel and cast iron congested area at the back of the tractor. So far the units are working well. Thank you
Love this adapter. I use it to haul my dump trailer and flatbed trailers with my tractor, and it's exactly what I needed to do so to have active ligjts and brakes from tractor to trailer. Highly recommended
