Easy-Pull Ring Handles Are Easy to Grip and Pull
Standard 4-way flat plugs have a small surface area to grip when you are pulling them apart, forcing you to wriggle the plugs back and forth to loosen them. Some users even pull on the wires. This can lead to broken terminals or ripped wiring. With the Easy-Pull extension loop adapter, each plug has a large grip ring designed to make disconnecting a snap. Simply slide your finger into the ring and pull the plug away from the opposite plug to disconnect.
The Easy-Pull is also available as a single trailer-end or a single vehicle-end 4-way flat plug. Combine this Easy-Pull extension with either the vehicle-end plug or the trailer-end plug for the easiest possible disconnection. With ring handles on both connectors, disconnecting is as simple as gripping the rings and pulling straight apart. No wriggling, no broken terminals, and no damaged wires.

I purchased the Easy-Pull extension along with the 7 to 4 pin adapter a few years ago. I was very happy with it, but I had them stored outside the entire time on my hitch through Pennsylvania winters and summers. That took its toll on it and the connection pulled apart. That did not deter me from reordering the exact same product replacement. If I keep it stored outside again, I will keep it shielded from the elements.

Purchased this to supply power to the Lets Go Aero LED Light Kit I installed on our cargo basket. The Easy-Pull is truly much easier to disconnect than the conventional plug. Friends have borrowed my hitch basket and subsequently purchased the Easy-Pull for their own use because of the utility of this accessory.

My review is basically on the DESIGN ONLY, because I haven't used it very much so I can't give a honest review on the actual quality, the DESIGN is awesome, the idea of making such where you can pull directly out is ingenious, some of us who are used to having to wiggle such to pull connections apart need to break that habit with this new design, I DO recommend using some type of electrical grease on the terminals when you attach.

This wiring set up makes trailer electrical hook ups much better of an experience. Everything attaches quickly and effortless. Before it was a pain especially after the wiring had a season on it.

Bought to use as a back up after some stole my regular light cord (one of this company's coiled 4 flat to round plugs). Seems like a great product and if it is half as good as the other product I will be happy. It is small and easy to carry as a back up if something happens to whatever you normally use. When something happens to your lights like I had happen this is a great insurance policy.

- Replacement 4 Pin Male and Female Connectors for Trailer Light WiringYes, what I like to recommend in your case is an Easy-Pull 4-Flat Extension w/ 2 Grip Rings - Vehicle and Trailer Ends - 48" # HM47114. This will make things easier to splice in line by simply cutting the extension in half. Then you will have 2 weather sealed ends that you don't have to worry will get wet or that the wires will pull away from the end. The large rings also give you an easy pull handle to prevent damage to the wires.
