Today, we're going show you a Hopkins endurance flex trailer connector adapter with LED circuit tester. Part number HM47390. The part number this is what you get. It's a seven pull connector side. It seems like they have a pistol grip on it. Makes it easier to put into your seven pull connector.
This side here has built in LED's. The tester part, and if we open up the cap, it's a five way connector here too. This isn't limited just five ways, this is also a four way connector as well. This also has about five inches of length of cord, so when you have it plugged into your vehicle, you have a little bit of extra leeway with your trailer. Sometimes the cord will be a little bit on the short side, this will help you out. One nice little touch. The wires that go to the five pull connector also have their own little sheath to help protect them.
Let's go ahead and try it out. We'll go ahead and take the seven pull connector, and we'll put it into our seven pull connector on our truck. First off, we'll try the running light circuit, which is actually labeled TM, or you can think of it as the trailer marker lights. Next, we'll try our left turn signal. Then we'll try our right turn signal. Now our five way is for our backup signal.
We'll go ahead and put our vehicle in reverse. When backup cut light comes on, you also notice when we put the break pedal on, we have our left turn and right turn signal on as well. We said a little bit earlier that we can use a four pull with it. Pretty simple, I'll show you how it works. We've got a typical four pull trailer connector, and all it does is it plugs in like normal. The only difference is, this pin's not being used. What's nice about the fifth pull on this tester here, is you can check to make sure the backup lights are working on your trailer, or on some boat trailers that have a reverse lockout, this will work for checking that same signal as well.
If you're a type to leave it on your vehicle for a long time, this end here has a cap to help protect it when it's not being in use. Now finish up with a review for the Hopkins endurance select trailer connect adapter with LED circuit testers. Part number HM47390.

Works great for converting to my small trailer. Everytime i use it, it works. Held up like a champ with hundreds of trimes plugging in and unplugging. Loaned to family a few times and they asked where I bought it so they now shop here too.

Handy with indicator lights. Added backup lights on a small trailer so needed 5 conductor. This also accepts a flat 4 trailer, fifth spot just not used, so this replaces a couple adaptors I have.

- Getting Reverse Lights to Work on a 2012 Nitro Z-9 Boat Trailer Towed by a 2006 Ford F-150Many trailers actually do not have reverse lights but if yours does, you will want to check the center pin on the 7-Way connector on your truck to see if it is working. Use a circuit tester like # 3808 if needed to test the pin. If this pin does not show power when the vehicle is in reverse, then you will need to route a wire to the reverse light circuit on the truck to get it to work. It is also possible that you will need to check the fuse on the truck related to the reverse light circuit...
