Today we're going to review part number HM47445. This is the Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter. It's a 7-pole round pin to a 6-pole round. This adapter will convert your 7-pole round pin that's on the vehicle end to the 6-pole round connector that will be on your trailer. It has the built in cover on the 6-way side which you can remove, it gives access to the 6-round pins. When you're not using it put the cover right on and it protects it from any dust or grime or elements. It also has the nice, easy-grip design you can see right there that you can easily install it and remove it very easily. Perfect. Fit the plug in my '86 F-250 Camper Special & converted it to the round 6 easy. The man that installed the old round 7 plug had wired it differently to accommodate non-integrated tail lights/brake lights on his application, however, referring to the Hopkins website for the illustrated wiring diagrams & comparing them to what was on the truck, I was able to quickly correct the wiring for my standard application. Couldn't be happier with the build/fit/availability of the adapter & e-trailer sent it quick so it was here in time to use it the following weekend as planned.

This product work perfecting for my application. I need to raise the level up to meet my requirement on the trailer mount, and this work . And the delivery was fast even using mail.

Perfect for converting that 7-Round pin plug into something usable. Solidly built, and the twin wings for removing it from the plug are very handy.
The part is good, price as fair and delivery is fast.
The same part would cost the same less the delivery charge locally but it was hard to find in stores. Anyway, thanks to E-trailer we got it on time.

Needed to convert fromo an older 7 pin to a 6 pin. This was exactly what I needed. Arrived quickly.
