The large grip ring on this universal, splice-in, 4-way flat connector provides the leverage you need to easily disconnect it from your trailer connector without damaging the terminals. Includes dust cover and 48" bonded wires.

Specs:
Standard 4-way flat plugs have a small surface area to grip when you are pulling them apart, forcing you to wriggle the plugs back and forth to loosen them. you might even pull on the wires, leading to broken terminals or ripped wiring.
This Easy-Pull harness has a large grip ring designed to make disconnecting a snap. Simply slide your finger into the ring and pull the plug away from the opposite plug to disconnect.
The Easy-Pull is also available as a trailer-end 4-way flat plug (sold separately). Combine the Easy-Pull vehicle-end plug and trailer-end plug for the easiest possible disconnection. With ring handles on both connectors, disconnecting is as simple as gripping the rings and pulling straight apart. No wriggling, no broken terminals, and no damaged wires.
Because the color/function of the new connector wires may not match the color/function of your vehicle wires, be sure to use a tester (sold separately) to determine the function of each wire on your vehicle's tail light wiring harness before installing this connector. Once you've determined the matching functions, use quick-splice or butt connectors (sold separately) to connect the corresponding wires.
The number 1 reason trailer wiring comes up faulty is a bad ground, so make sure your ground wire has a solid and clean connection to metal. To make this connection, you'll need a ring terminal and a self-tapping screw (sold separately).

Includes dust cover and 48" bonded wires.I had to replace in my Ford F-150 the trailer connector as it failed due due to corrosion. The new 48"replacement was perfect to reach my trailer. The pull harness is the best for trailer lighting I have ever seen.

Very good but I have sold the truck now so I am sure the new owner is getting the benefits of the new harness.
