Today we'll be having a look at the Mighty Cord 7-Blade to 6-Pole Connector Adapter, part number A10-7276VP. Now, this is what the adapter looks like. As you can see, it's a 7-way flat RV connector to a 6-pole round. Now, this is great because a lot of trucks from the factory now come with a standard 7-way RV connector on the back and a 4-pole flat. If you own an older trailer that has a 6-pole round connector, this is a perfect solution for you. This is great because this adapter doesn't require any modification to your vehicle or your trailer.
You can just use what you already have with the adapter in between. You just open up 7-way flat here, insert it, and now you have your 6-pole round where you can hook it up to your trailer. Push it in, and now we'll be able to tow our trailer, have all our lighting functions, and our breaks if it has them on it. Now, when you're done and arrived at your destination, you can just unplug your trailer from the adapter, lift up on your door, grab on the easy to use finger hooks here, pull back, and store this inside your vehicle. Product worked as advertised. Easy installation to reduce 7 wire flat blade plug to 6 wire round plug.
Product is as ordered - however I note it shipped from OH to Kansas City, MO then to the far west side of Mo and finally to Indy post office and ultimately, after taking over a week for the grand tour , was delivered. Ridiculous. I estimate it traveled nearly 1,000 miles to get back within 250 miles of where it started. No wonder the shipping charge is so high !
