Worked great..... used it on a farm tractor and planter to replace the John Deere plug that was bad. [...] wanted $508.82 for their replacement plug and as you know I have $26.50 in yours, freight included. Made a new bracket, put it on and went back to work. THANK YOU

Still works just fine and am very pleased with it THANKS AGAIN

This is the exact plug that I needed without having to change out to more recent 7 pole conventional plugs, even though for my application I am only using 3 wires. Wiring instructions came with. I don't have a trailer or camper now, but this will be the electrical feed to my fuel transfer tank.
ETRAILER HAS IT ALL AND KNOWS THEIR STUFF!

by:

I was looking for a solution to charging my 12 volt camper refrigerator while on the road and to provide power to my trailer lights. This part became the solution. It is well built and the instructions on the e trailer web site helped a great deal. Thank you!!

by:

Never fails, fair pricing, and detailed communication on shipping ETA.

You are right in that a 9 wire harness is hard to find. You can just add additional wires and make it work. The color of the wire does not matter - just find the gauge of wire you want and label it so you know the function. For example we have 10 gauge wire part # 10-2-1, and 12 gauge wire part # 12-2-1, that is sold by the foot.

When I can find 9 wire cord then I can try this out. I do not see this listed

by:

i do not know have not reseved my order yet

by:

These connectors completed the job of connecting my 4 camera CCTV backup system with multiplexer from my trailer to the truck cab. I needed nine wires to accomplish this function. It is too bad that you didn't carrying the 9 wire cable, but I found a company that carried it on the web.

by:

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but we have been busy chopping corn and the plugs that I got from you were to rewire a chopper that's why I needed a 9 pin connector I finished it the other day and we tried it today and everything works so I 'am very pleased with the parts thank you and I was very happy with the very quick delivery. Thanks again

by:

This Pollak 9-pole connector was a hard to find item at Autozone and other parts stores, even U-Haul did not carry this kind of trailer connector.

Thanks

by:

Spent about 4 hours and 6 or 8 phone calls with no luck in solving my camper wiring hook up issue. No one could offer me the product solution I needed. That was until I started searching your on line product offerings, and there it was... just what I needed at a wonderful price. I knew it would work because your website gave such a thorough description. I ordered... (the shipping was about $3) and it was exactly what I needed and thought I was getting. My purchase came wonderfully packaged and 2 days earlier than the promised date. Thoroughly satisfied and will buy from this company again.

Used to replace 9 pin plug on my
Fisher plow.
Works perfect & cheap fix

by:

As good or better than any other Plastic plug . I used it for a non typical application but I think its a good plug .

by:

Very nice connectors, easy to use and great labeling to help wire them. These can be used for a variety of applications, not just trailers.

by:

I have ordered these 9 pole connectors twice from this vendor and both the product and service have been first class.

by:

This was a hard to find product, made easy by eTrailer.com

Thank you for your attentive dedication, fast delivery.

by:

I only had to swap a burned out unit for a new one. The switch was easy. Some of the wires were lose in their holes so I striped extra length and folded the bare wire to make solid connections.

by:

Works awesome! Wired right in easy so I can keep the old and run the new !!
Thank you.

by:

  • Convert a 7-Way Connector to a 9-Way Trailer Connector for a 1985 Fireball Travel Trailer
We do carry a couple of 9-Way connectors. The one you would need to add to your 2001 Ford would be part # PK12907. The wire color code is listed on the product page, but 9-Way connectors are very uncommon now, so I could not find information as to which position the wires should connect to. What you can do, is pull apart the trailer connector and wire the vehicle 9-Way as a mirror image so that the wires match up when the two connectors are attached. And in case you need to replace,...

  • Upgrading a 2010-2016 Ford Super Duty to 9-Pin Wiring With Separate Center Brake Light Pin
When upgrading your factory 7-way to a 9-way # PK12906 and # PK12907 as you referenced, there would need to be a separate harness made. To separate out the brake light for that separate pin, you would need to use the Curt Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196. This will give your the separate signal for the center brake light you mentioned. The other couple pins can be configured as you stated for refrigeration or aux power as you stated. For another 12V power, you will simply...

  • Charging Trailer Batteries From Tow Vehicle and AC Outlet
In order to charge your trailer batteries from the 9-Way on your tow vehicle while in transit, you will just need to run 10 gauge wire like # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from the vehicle battery's positive terminal to the 12V power circuit of the 9-Way (if not already done). You will then run wiring from the 12V pin on the trailer 9-Way to your batteries. Keep in mind that this will provide a maintenance charge while towing but it won't be enough to charge up a dead battery. You are correct...

Simply remove the protective cap covering the plug, plug in one of the connectors on the Tow Ready Harness and run the 4-pole to the desired location. • The Best Way to Wire a 9-Way Vehicle Connector to a Trailer Side 9-Way Connector
The numbers that are given behind the colors for wiring chart of this Pollak 9-Pole # PK12907 are the gauge wire that is recommended you use for that circuit. If you need the matching 9-way trailer connector you would want a Pollak 9-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Connector # PK12906. There is not a standard wiring for 9-ways, you will need to wire the # PK12907 by function to the corresponding trailer 9-way connector. I attached an FAQ on trailer wiring that you might find helpful also.

  • Availability of Wiring Adapter to Convert 7-Way RV Connector to 9-Pole Round Pin on 1984 Jayco
9-pin connectors are rare these days. We do still offer vehicle and trailer side connectors of this type, such as # PK12907 and # PK12906, but we do not have any adapters that can convert your truck's 7-way blade-style RV connector to a 9-pole round pin type. A 9-pole connector like # PK12906 has two extra circuits (auxiliary on the gray wire and reefer on the orange) that would not be supported if fed by a 7-way socket. You'll want to swap out the truck connector using part # PK12907.

I can definitely help you out with wiring for your 2022 Lexus RX 450h L but unfortunately it doesn't look like there have been any trailer hitch fitments for a RX 450h L, even if they are the older year models. To add a hitch to your vehicle you'll need to have a shop fabricate one for you. For wiring I recommend checking out the ZCI Kit # 119250KIT from Tekonsha.
