Trailer End Connector - 4-Flat - Coiled

I used this product along with your 7 round pin to 4 flat adapter, item #118709, on the lights on our Brent and Parker grain wagons. This has worked out great so far. We haven't had the problem of too much or too little cord for the trailer lights, which allows the cord to get pinched and cut or stretched and broke. I just need to come up with a method of securing the cord and plug to the trailer tongue when not in use.103909

Looking for a coiled wiring harness for a trailer that I occasionally tow with my pickup truck, I found this website. The picture and description looked like just what I needed. The trailer wiring harness I ordered from you continues to be a happy purchase. The coiled-design is just what I needed to keep the wiring from dipping too low while also allowing flexibility for turns.

After seeing too many trailers come into our shop with broken connectors or cords that had been pulled away from their connectors, I knew there had to be a better way. With a simple Google search, I found these coiled connectors and thought I would give them a try. Although I haven't used them Yet, they seem to be exactly what I was looking for and a solution to a potential wiring problem. 148456

I have been 101 satisfied with this product. I have replaced several straight-wire plugs because theyre too short or get caught in moving parts. I bought several of these coiled connectors and they are well worth the money. I was very satisfied with the quality too.

Recently purchased a used boat and trailer. The trailer wiring had what seemed to be about 75 feet of excess wire zip tied around the front of the trailer. Cut all of that off and installed this. Not only does it look much cleaner, but no more concern of the wiring dragging or getting pulled out. Would buy it again.415310

Its been a year now, and although I havent used that trailer that much, it has been exposed to Arizona heat for the entire time. Pulled the trailer a couple of days ago and it was as expected. Still as happy with the purchase now as I was when I first installed it.

This coiled harness is a quality product and great idea. Prevents possible dragging and damage to harness. My only criticism would be two brown (pwr) wires one for left and right side of trailer. Most quality wiring assemblies use 5 wires exiting a 4 pin plug. 662656

The coiled trailer cord is very heavy duty. Really, too heavy for my small custom motorcycle trailer. But, the description does not give any idea of the size of the cord so, I used it and it will work. I just wish the cord was smaller in diameter. The cord works great even after a year and several thousand motorcycle touring miles. If it was just lighter weight it wouldn’t be as visually obvious.

Works great to keep the light cords from being pinched on our Brent and Parker wagons. Factory light cords were pinched, cut and patched so many times we finally replaced them with these coiled cords. Wagons sit outside a fair amount of time so they gradually stretch out after about 5 years in our case. Had to replace one out of 4 this year. Still worth it. Greatly reduces trailer light maintenance.726760

After using trailer wiring kits from Harbor Freight and Wal-Mart I decided to try something heavy duty. Wow! What a difference. This trailer-to-vehicle plug is real quality, and will last the life of my trailer.802053

This was exactly what I needed - heavy duty. And with the online help from etrailer, I knew how to connect it correctly to the 5 wires coming off the trailer. I used Junction Box 38656 to make a very professional-looking rig. I drilled a hole thru the back of the junction box and fished the wires in from there, so there are no wires showing externally, no in-line connectors to come loose, and the wires are completely protected. Nothing changed here, dont see failure thru life of trailer

Very heavy duty industrial-grade trailer lighting cable. Cable is a little thicker/stiffer and also heavier weight than expected, but will work well with a vehicle-mounted 4-pin lighting connector. 324159

Nice heavy duty cable. I own a well used 4x8 utility trailer that needed a new connector and I wanted one that was coiled so it wouldn’t droop. I think I just doubled the value of my trailer with this purchase. I wish I could get a cover for the connector though, it seems like only ones for the tow vehicle are available.683292

Shipping took a while only because it wasn't currently in stock, however once it was available it got to me incredibly fast. As for the product, it's incredibly well made and hefty! I was expecting something like an old telephone chord but it's much thicker and heavy duty.1420738

I purchased a fold-trailer to haul my lawn mowers and etc. for my rentals. The problem when folding up the trailer the wires either got caught in between the trailer or the last time broke the wires.

I brought these to give me the play I needed and not get caught in between the frame work of the trailer and not have to make the wires so they drugged on the ground. Put them on yesterday all problems solved. Oh yea I didnt used them for what they were intended for. lol167561

Purchased this product as a jumper cord to be used in towing hay wagons with the truck. Works excellent. The cord stays up off the ground but yet still provides plenty of flex for when the wagon turns.487031
