Commonly used on vintage hot rods and race cars, Derale's pan coolers are designed to add a little extra cooling power to keep your vehicle's transmission operating at its best. Simple installation involves replacing the existing oil pan with the new Derale one, which, in addition to providing cooling power, also increases fluid capacity. The built-in turbulator tubes allow air to flow through, pulling the heat that has collected in the pan's surface and dissipating it into the surrounding environment.

  • Recommended Transmission Fluid and Engine Oil Cooler for a 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500
I have exactly what you will need to keep both the engine oil and transmission fluid cool in your 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500 but a remote cooler will not be necessary. Instead, I recommend using the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902. As long as you have at least 17" wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep of space to mount the cooler behind your grille and in front of your radiator/condenser then it will work well for you. You can expect a drop in engine oil...

  • Will the Derale Transmission Pan Cooler D14204 Fit a 1994 GMC Suburban K1500 With 4L60 Transmission
So long as you have 2" of space beneath your factory transmission pan then yes, the Derale Transmission Pan Cooler part # D14204 will fit your 1994 GMC Suburban K1500 with the 4L60 transmission. In regards to the transmission fluid filter, you can use the OEM style that is for your transmission but Derale does not offer transmission fluid filters. The note for using a smaller transmission fluid filter only applies to models after 1996. Please note we have a temperature sensor this pan...

  • Will the Transmission Cooling Pan D14204 Fit on a 2000 GMC 4x4 1500 Sierra Pickup
I believe you are correct, the Derale Transmission Pan Cooler, # D14204, is designed for GM vehicles with 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions from 1982 to 1999 and we do not list an transmission cooler pan for the 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with 4L60 M-30 transmission. I believe the issue you will run into is that the exhaust on the vehicle, or other parts, will interfere with installation of the pan to the transmission. The pan will fit the transmission if there are no parts on the vehicle in the...

  • Will Derale Transmission Cooler Pan D14204 Fit a GM 4L70E Transmission
Even though the 4L70E transmission is part of the Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 family I can only guarantee that it will fit in place of the pan on a 4L60E. To err on the side of caution I recommend a regular supplemental transmission cooler such as # D13503.

  • Transmission in the 2005 Chevy Avalanche for Picking Out Pan Cooler
The 4L80E transmission was used in the higher rated trucks and the 4L60E was used in the lighter duty trucks. Since you have a 1500 model 2005 Chevy Avalanche you would have the 4L60E transmission. The # D14204 would be the correct pan cooler then.

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendations for a 1985 Pontiac Firebird
The Derale transmission pan cooler # D14204 will fit a 1985 Pontiac Firebird if it has the 2.5 liter or 3.8 liter engine AND the 700R4, 4L60, or 4L60E transmission. You will not need a longer filter or spacer when using this pan cooler. In fact this transmission pan cooler fits most 1982-1999 model 4L60Es. Some models may require a smaller transmission filter to get it to fit. If you are looking for more efficient cooling I recommend a regular transmission cooler that mounts under the...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2003 GMC Sierra 4x4 1500
I can tell you that the Derale Transmission Cooler Pan, # D14204, fits most 1982-1999 model 4L60Es transmissions. Some models may require a smaller transmission filter to get it to fit. It will not fit on all models. The overall depth of the pan is 3-5/8 inches and the distance to the the 5/8 inch diameter cooling tubes is 2-1/2 inches from the top of the pan. The exhaust has been determined to be a possible hindrance of installing this pan on models newer than 1999. If there were no components...

  • Transmission Pan Cooler Selection for a 2008 Chevy Express Van V6
From the research I did the V6 models of the 2008 Chevy Express Van actually used the 4L60E transmission which would call for the # D14204 pan cooler. The 2500/3500 Express vans used the 4L80E and would require the # D14207.

Derale Transmission Pan Cooler, # D14204, is designed for GM vehicles with 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions from 1982 to 1999 and we do not list an transmission pan cooler for the 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with 4L60 M-30 transmission. The issue you could run into is that the exhaust on the vehicle, or other components, could interfere with installation of the pan cooler. What I recommend is to go with the most efficient and largest standard transmission cooler available that will fit in front...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2008 Hummer H3
I have a solution for you, but since we do not have a pan cooler confirmed to fit your 2008 Hummer H3 and you really don't want to hurt ground clearance your best bet would be to install an additional transmission cooler. Depending on how much more cooling you need the part # D13503 could work well for you. For most vehicles just one cooler like this provided enough cooling, since you already have a remote fan cooler this should be more than enough when used in combination.
