What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna checking out the Westin truck bed mat. Now this is gonna be made for beds of five and a half feet, and we're gonna be putting it on our 2022 Ram 1500 today. Looking closer at the mat, you can see that it's custom made for your truck bed. It goes around the tire wells here on the inside and you don't have to do any cutting yourself, it just drops into place. It also has the channels on the top so that it helps direct any mess towards the back of the truck or just keeps it contained.
I like that it's three eighths of an inch thick too. So that means, if you do drop something in there, you don't have to worry about it damaging your bed. And it dampens the sound, too. So if we take this pencil hook that I had in here and drop it, sure it makes a little bit of noise but it'd be way louder and damage the bed if that mat wasn't there. Underneath we have the grips that's gonna keep it in place, and I'll show you by pulling on it back and forth.
It is moving a little bit, but not much. It's gonna take a lot to get it to move, so I like that it's on there and it's gripped against the metal bed. Now it does come rolled up so it might be a good idea to throw it outside and leaving the sun for a little bit so it stretches out. You can see it's still kind of curved up to the front, but if you can throw some heavy objects on there, it'll help flatten it out when you go to keep it in your bed. Overall, I do like the bed mat in the back of the truck.
It looks like it's supposed to be there, it looks factory, I like how it's custom fit, I didn't have to modify it at all, it's gonna stay in place, it's gonna dampen that sound and protect the bed. Now, if you throw heavier stuff in your bed, maybe you want a little bit of a thicker bed mat, Black Armor does offer one that's a half inch thick, so if you need a little bit more in there for throwing the heavier stuff and you're constantly throwing something there, I would look at that option on our site too. Could be a little bigger so it fits the floor of the bed all the way. Short around all the edge.
Looks good and should work fine
This was my second purchase from etrailer for my new truck. Mat fit perfect for my Ram with a spray in bed-liner. Things no longer slide around in the bed, extremely grippy which is what I wanted.
Truly an exact fit for my 2002 Access Cab Tundra. A bit stinky at first, but I'm used to that with new rubber mats. It's thick and seems durable. Definitely kind of "tacky", so things won't be sliding around in the bed.

Great product at a great price. Fits my truck perfectly. It looks relatively thick and well made and it lays pretty flat in the truck bed. It has good grip to it so that stuff doesn’t slide around. I’m very pleased. I also want to mention that Etrailer has great customer service. I’ve had to call them a few times in the past on orders and they’ve always been helpful, kind and honest. This is a great company that does a great job of trying to help their customers.
Is that is an excellent quality. It is about a quarter inch thick rubber. Perfect for protecting the bed of the truck. The truck I put it in was a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD, 4 x 4 sport.

Really nice, heavy, great fitting mat for the bed of my truck. Things don't slide around on it and it's great cushioning for my knees when I have to crawl around back there.

Good fit. Not tight but good. Heavy mat. My Tacoma has rear tie downs on the floor so I trimmed to fit.

Mat order was placed on 02/12/22 & received 02/18/22. Installed in 2022 Silverado LTD RST Crew Cab with bed length ~70". Full 3/8" thick mat weighed in at 42-43 lbs. Fit could not be better at all 4 corners & wheel wells. Completely satisfied.

The bed mat fit perfectly. It did take it a few weeks to fully relax so they it wasn’t curled up at the ends where it was rolled in the shipping package but that did not cause me any concern.
It's a good truck mat, and it fits well in the bed.
Came on time and as advertised. Installation consisted of removing the wrapper and rolling it out in the bed. Perfect fit for my 2018 F-150
