Take your camper off-road with custom tie-downs that ensure a safe, comfortable ride and zero loss of ground clearance. Discreetly mounts to the bed and bumper of your pickup to create secure attachment points for your camper that blend right in.
Features:
The HappiJac tie-downs distribute the weight of your camper across the truck's bed to keep the ride comfortable and the camper secure. Holding the camper taut at all four corners - as opposed to securing it on top of the bed rails, like a typical bed-mounted system - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel. It's designed to make the camper an integrated part of your truck, instead of a heavy load perched on top of it.
When you're not using them, these tie-downs won't create an eyesore or a hazard. The 2 front braces mount to your truck's cross frame under the bed, staying completely out of sight. The front anchors attach to the braces through the bed wall, while the rear anchors install on the rear bumper. Small and chrome-plated, these anchor points are pretty subtle. The couplers remove from the anchors with a quick quarter-turn so they can blend in.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael, with eTrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the HappiJac's anchored tie downs for your truck bed campers. This kit is going to allow you to set up your Ford to get it equipped to haul a sliding camper. It's going to provide the attachment points that you need to secure all four corners of the camper to the truck, so that you're not getting any of that side-to-side, front-to-back, or up-and-down motion. It's going to make for a much smoother ride, and you're going to be able to rest assured that your camper is connected securely to your truck. This is a custom fit for many of your 1997 through 2004 Ford F150, and F250 trucks. I would encourage you to check with the guide on the product page to make sure that it's going to work for you.
We have a more detailed list there, of all the different makes and models, and how it interacts with different packages. You are going to get four tie down couplers, two support brackets, and all the installation hardware that you need, as well as the instructions, so that you can get it all installed. Your front support brackets are going to attach to your truck's crossmember, for added strength. It's not going to be attached to the bottom of your bed, it's actually going to mount to a more permanent fixture to your truck, to give it more support. The rear anchors are going to install on the end of your truck's bumper, again giving you the four corners to tie your camper down to.This is made out of steel, so it's going to hold up well. It's going to be very durable, you're not going to have to worry about it breaking or anything.
It is made here in the USA, and it comes with a one-year warranty from HappiJac.Now, when you're looking at this, it's important to think about how you're going to attach your camper to your tie downs. If you don't already have an option, HappiJac does have two different styles of turn buckles. These are very simple devices. One hook is going to attach to your camper, the other hook is going to attach to your tie downs, and the turnbuckle is going to allow it to spin independently so you can tighten it down. This is the original turnbuckle from HappiJac.
You can find it here at eTrailer, using part number LC182898, or they also have this quick-load, which is essentially the same thing, except that you have this head that can pivot, remove the pin here, so you can quickly tighten or loosen to get the turnbuckle installed. You can leave the hook end screwed into the point that you need, and then all you have to do is use the handle there to get it installed. This can be found here at eTrailer.com using part number LC182895.Again, just another couple of options for you when deciding on how to get your camper attached to your truck. That's going to complete our look at the HappiJac anchored tie downs for truck bed campers.
