Today we're going to review part number VX-D9006. This is the Vision X 9006 Halogen Headlight Bulbs, Premium White color. This part number is a quantity of 2. Now I am showing it, this is how you would receive it. They come in this nice protective case to protect the bulbs. You just pop them open and then you have access to your bulbs. One note I do want to mention to you that's important is when you do handle your bulbs when you go to install them, you don't want to hold them by the glass portion. What happens is the oil from your fingers would get on the glass bulb and what that would do is when you go to install these bulbs and turn them on the high temperatures of these bulbs with that oil on the bulb could cause it to shatter.
So when you do handle your bulbs what you want to do is just remove it and hold it by the base. That's the best way to handle it. These are halogen bulbs which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs for improved brightness, increased visibility. This one is a premium white light which will shine up to 40% brighter and up to about 35% further than your factory bulbs. This will reflect better off of the road signs and markers. This does have a high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness, increases your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. This is a durable, long lasting construction.
It has a 250-hour lifespan. This is a fast and easy installation. If you'll notice right here you just plug this into your vehicle's existing head lamp socket. It is Department of Transportation compliant. Specs on this, this part contains two bulbs, the bulb type is 9006.
The wattage on these bulbs are 55 watts at 12 volts, the brightness is 900 lumens. The color temperature is 4300 degrees Kelvin and the part does come with a lifetime warranty. Upgrading my headlights was one of the best additions to my truck. I drive through Kansas where there are no lights. Now I do not overdrive my headlights. I have plenty of light on the road.
I purchased these items as replacements for when my existing headlights eventually fail. Since I haven't installed them yet, I can't remark on the quality/improvement etc, however I was very pleased with the pricing and the service provided by e-trailer.

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty
These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.

Plug and play. Very bright! I get flashed all the time with these and i dont have my brights on.
Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks
