Whether you're headed to the campsite or the jobsite, this stake-pocket-mounted ToyLok keeps bikes, lawn chairs, fire pits, generators, power tools, small ATVs or UTVs, and more safely locked in the bed of your truck. Simply bolt the ToyLok to the mounting bracket with the included hardware and place the bracket inside your truck bed stake pocket.
The ToyLok's 15', retractable cable is made of braided steel, which is virtually impossible for bolt cutters to cut through. The PVC coating on the cable protects gear from scratches, and the stainless steel retention knob lets you connect the cable to the included padlock.
To use the ToyLok, simply pull the cable out of the nylon housing and thread it through any open spaces in your gear, such as wheels or handles. The built-in clutch lets the cable extend and retract smoothly without snapping. The clutch also lets you pull out only the length of cable that you need to secure your gear, so there won't be extra cable in your way.
The ToyLok cable can be locked 2 different ways. The first is to thread the retention knob through the receptacle on the side of the ToyLok, and then secure it with the included padlock. The second is to secure the cable to itself using the padlock. To do this, insert the padlock through the hole in the retention knob and then lock it around the cable.
Simple Installation
To assemble the ToyLok, bolt the nylon casing to the bracket with the included hardware. There are pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the case for this purpose.
Two different mounting blocks are included to provide you with the perfect fit for your truck bed stake pocket. Mounting option 1 is for installations in stake pockets that have enough clearance to fit the 3-1/2" long x 1-1/4" wide mounting block. Mounting option 2 is for stake pockets that are a bit smaller and can only receive the 2-7/8" x 1-1/4" wide mounting block. Both mounting options use a 3/8" bolt (included) to secure the bracket to the truck.

What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this Toylok from Lippert. Now this version of it's gonna mount in your stake pocket on your truck. And that way you have a retractable cable lock that you can run through these items that are in the back of your truck, just to keep anybody from messing with them when you're not around. Let's check it out. The main part is this is gonna be this cable lock itself.
It's got a PVC coating. That way it protects your items when you run it through the handles you can see as we did here. That way it's not gonna scratch anything up because it is a braided steel on the inside of the cable. So that is textured. And you don't want that scratching everything that you run the cable through.
So that PVC is gonna protect against that. It's gonna be 15 feet of cable too. So keep that in mind with however much you want to tie down to the back of your truck. Or if you have your truck parked, maybe you're tailgating. You could run it through some stuff around here on the outside.
That way if you need to step away for a second, everything's gonna be in the same place when you come back. Now how it locks up is it comes with a padlock. It's gonna attach to this bracket here so you can run the cable all the way through the handles of the blower, and the propane tank and the gasoline can. Bring it back here and lock it up, or you can actually lock the cable on itself. Just loop around and use the padlock and lock it on that last section.
So maybe we'd lock it around the handle of the gas can at the other end or use another tie-down point at the other end of the truck bed. There is an included padlock. We're gonna remove that to show you. Give you a better view of what I'm gonna be talking about here, where it attaches. So I ran this padlock through the hole at the end of the cable, and this bracket is what it locks to. So if you're gonna run through all the handles of your stuff and lock it up, this is where it locks and keeps it locked up there. Now there is another option, get that out of there. You can tie it to itself, like this with a cable lock And also lock it up that way. Let's check out how it functions. I'm gonna pull it out as much as I can. Just right there. And you see as I pull it and unlock it, it retracts right in on itself. Now to get it to stop and pull out, you're gonna hear a couple of clicks. Then you let go. It stays in place like that. So now it's not gonna retract, and to get it to retract, you just pull it, you'll hear more clicks. And now it feeds back into itself keeping everything nice and neat right there. The housing for the cable lock is made out of nylon. It's pretty heavy duty. You can see me knocking on it. You can kind of hear that it's heavy duty. It's actually heavy when you lift it too. So you know that if I drop it, it's not gonna crack and this shell is just gonna break off. It seems pretty heavy-duty. It can last through that. And that's good if it's gonna stay here on the back of your truck. Now we use the bounding plate kit here that goes in the stake pocket. So that's how we have it attached. You drop a block down in there tighten this down to it, and that's gonna keep it right there in your truck bed. It comes with the hardware to install it a couple of different ways. The one way is to use this block, put that down in the stake pocket, run the bolt through and this will hold up and push up against that stake pocket. Now we had a few issues getting this to fit on a few different trucks today. So we use the other method is where you have a rubber block that goes down into the stake pocket with another plate on the other side. And as you tighten it down, it compresses the block which spreads it out and takes up that space keeping it in place right there. Now it's not a perfect fit. You can see the movement here but it's not gonna come out of there. And even if they did pry it out of there, you still have all your stuff locked. So it would still be a hassle. I think most people are just gonna take a look and see the cable lock and all this stuff in the back of your truck and just walk on to the next truck that doesn't have one. You're gonna get a special bit with it to actually tighten it down. So just in case you're wondering about that screw up top, it's gonna be this special bit. So they're gonna have to have this to remove it. So it's not just the standard bolt that anybody can take out. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool idea. It's nice to have that security in your bed. If you don't have a tunnel cover or anything like that to lock it up. This cable, I liked it. It retracts and stores into itself. Cause you could get a 15 feet cable lock and just leave it in the back of your truck and run it through the attachment points back there. But you'd still have to roll that up and find somewhere to put it every time you we're done with it or put it back in the truck. This way, it all stores nice and easily in itself. It's kind of up and out of the way allowing you to still use your truck bed. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped..

Keep your gear safe with this retractable cable lock. The 15' braided steel cable threads through your gear and locks with the included padlock. Nylon case is durable. Attaches to driver's-side stake pocket closest to your cab.We use the cable lock every trip to lock our mountain bikes or motorcycles, it comes in handy.
It was easy to mount to the frame of our RV. Using it to secure the generator. Note our Lancer 2185 came with one attached to the frame in front under the generator locker.
Love the product and easy to install
Great item bought as replacement for old one lasted 5 years
Quick shipment. easy instlall on toy hauler.. works well to lock down bikes under the 5th wheel nose
I saw this product on another camper, and instantly knew it was what I've been looking for. We travel allot with our camper, and are always looking for ways to lock up our bikes, lawn chairs, and anything else. This one item, will now replace several chains and short cables we've been using for years. This locking system is compact, and will eliminate my need to store separate cables and maintaining padlocks.
Very nice product. I have attached it to my trailer to secure my motorcycle(s) and trailer.
Very well made and works well.
I've made several purchases from etrailer and will do so again. Prices are fair and responses good. I had an item break in shipping, with no apparent damages to the box. Told etrailer and sent a picture, and the replacement came a few days later. No problem, no hassle.
But...., I have to plan around etrailer's delay in shipping time. When I have placed my orders, I immediately get confirmation of the order, that includes an indication that my items "will ship in 5-7 days." That seems like a long time in an era of instant gratification. If I'm not in a hurry (like I usually am), then the wait is no big deal given the favorable pricing. If you need it now and don't mind paying more, you might need to shop elsewhere.
ITEM AS DESCRIBED.....GREAT COMMUNICATION FROM E-TRAILER THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION......WILL BUY FROM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.......KYLE R.
Much larger, heavier and durable than expected. Will be great to protect valuables in back of truck or at campsite in a day where NOTHING seems safe. Loss of respect for other people’s belongings. Everything needs to be locked and secured these days. Cable coating will protect valuables and mountable, retractable coil case keeps the lock and cable close when needed and stored away when not. I bought one to mount in truck bed and another to mount on RV trailer frame. Excited to use and lose all the loose chain I’ve been using.
The 4" bumper kit was the icing on the cake! Installation was a snap! Very pleased with etrailer's professionalism as well as an excellent web site!
Thank you e trailer!
Everything that was needed to mount the lock to my Motorhome was included, of high quality and worked flawlessly...using the lock is so much more convenient than other methods of securing camping gear...Worth Every Penny!
Not so much this product as ordered. The same product from before lasted about 2 yrs. Rewind spring failed, will not retract. Hope this one last longer. Will try to repair other. Understanding that it may not work.
Great robust product for seducing my portable solar panels. You guys are always fast with your deliveries, and stock quality stuff. Thanks! Again!
Easy installation but take the lock off BEFORE you mount it.
Have had a similar product on a previous trailer but this one is much better, stronger and versatile as to where it can be installed.
Lock works as it should. Bolted right on.
Shipping was a few days later than expected is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
The cable no longer is retractable after 6 months. And it's not easy to replace.
Great product, installation was very easy, works as advertised
