Turn the existing manual handle on your tonneau cover or truck cap into a powered locking handle. This locking kit wires into your vehicle's existing power door locks, so when you lock your truck, you lock your cap or tonneau too.

Power Lock for Truck Cap or Tonneau
Add the convenience of a power lock to your truck cap or hard tonneau cover. This kit taps into your truck's existing power lock system and connects to the locking handle on your tonneau or topper so that you can lock and unlock your tonneau or topper using your vehicle's key fob or the in-cab control buttons. Lock your truck doors, and your cap or tonneau will lock at the same time.
2-Piece Wiring Harness with Fuse
To install this lock, run the wiring from your tonneau or truck cap to the front driver's-side kick panel where you will find the wiring for your vehicle's power door locks. The included instruction sheet has a vehicle-specific guide that explains how to locate the correct wires for your application. This may require a circuit tester (sold separately).
The provided wiring harness connects to your vehicle's wiring with the included quick-splice connectors. An in-line fuse is supplied to protect your truck's wiring from overload.
The 2-piece design of the harness allows you to disconnect the wiring quickly and easily in case you need to remove your topper or tonneau. Just unplug the wires at the middle connection point and you can remove your truck cap or cover without having to remove or re-run wiring. Then just plug the harnesses back into one another when you reinstall your tonneau or cap.

Purchased this so i didn't have to always use my keys to lock/unlock my LEER cap. It is so much easier to just use the power lock/unlock feature on your key fob or door cluster instead of handling keys. I am very happy I purchased this product as it works very well and makes things that much easier. I purchased PAL8550 also and ran the wiring together with a wire hose and wire hose tee where the two meet up under the driver side taillight. Be sure to leave cap door open to make sure the lock button works to lock the door, if not just reverse the two wire connections at the lock mechanism inside the cap door.

Stopped working after 6 month’s tried to check wires and connectors, it works once then stops working again.

Wanted to update my century shell and the automatic lock for the door did not disappoint. I had the tear drop lock already and after talking to James at etrailer I went with Pl 9772. Everything works perfect. Still can use my key and shell lock with truck. Pretty neat option if you want that feature.

Works good. Your camper door will need larger lifts due to the weight. Finding wiring inside door sill on my ram was an issue but we got it done.

Works great and the Shipping was fast and everything arrived in new condition. I broke the first one I had installed and I just needed some of the parts. Pop-n-lock was of no help but etrailers had another unit at a reasonable price and were great to work with.
