Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all four wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.
LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, two-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

These were in a LOT of pieces, but they work well. The brake line and electrical guard on the axle was difficult to get back on due to interference from the lower mount. I used the cradle on the bottom instead of bolting the airbag to the axle. These bags work really well on my 1500 truck.
So far, so good. Install was straight forward. Put them to the test the following day. Loaded the truck up, leveled it off and down the road we went. Ride and handling improvement was astonishing. Far more control at highway speeds loaded down. Even the wife was impressed…..
I believe I ordered the wrong airbags! They fixed me right up. They sent correct set I returned my bad. Great to deal with!
Works great! After about 6mo I did have to tighten a fitting on one side that was leaking but it’s been great!
It's obvious the parts sent have been installed once before. My intentions were to buy new parts not someone else returned items after they intalled

Arrived quickly. Instructions were good. After supporting frame and suspension I removed the tires for easier installation. It really worked to smooth out the ride and level the truck with the trailer hitched up.

I first purchased the Air Lift LoadLifter in an attempt to help reduce trailer sway and handling of my truck when towing my travel trailer. The far exceeded my expectations. Having the ability to get both my truck and my trailer completely level has made an enormous difference in towing. These air bags are not designed to reduce trailer sway, but being able to tow with everything level and having anti-sway mechanism is the perfect pair. I only wished I had found them earlier and there would be been several less "white knuckle" driving experiences.
Product worked very well once I was able to designate compressor and tank mounting locations. The mount bracket I used from Air Lift did not work for my tank positioning.I had to makeshift and install it in the bed. Actually worked out for the best because the finished install is secure in the bed with a power retractable bed cover. A year later with no issues and the unit still looks as new and not grimy like it would be if under the truck. I've had friends ask me to do installs now.
So far I haven't not had any issues with the air bags. I would recommend on the air compressor kits with the self leveling feature though.
Purchased the air bags just to provide a little help with ride while towing our travel trailer. Our travel trailer is 6900 GVW with a tongue weight around 650. Just by adding about 20-25 psi the bags did the trick and our 1/2 ton p/u rides much better when traveling over backroads. Did the installation myself and it was easy.
I purchase a set of airbag helper spring along with a set of longview mirrors to assist with towing. Both parts arrived on time with no problems. I'm looking forward to take a trip to test these new accessories. Everything installed as advertised and performs better than expected.
I had placed an order, then realized it was not going to work on my truck. Call and got a very nice lady to cancel the original order and placed a new one with the right part. It arrived in 2 days! Have not yet installed but looks to be what I need.

was pretty simple to install watched a tube video along with the instruction booklet. 1 thing when you go to put the u bolts on and tighten up to the frame make sure that the bracket is sitting on the outside of the two tabs or else you will have issues down the road with the bracket loosening up. bracket must be sitting flush on frame
Good product went on and fit as shown in video. The video was a nice feature just wish it would have had split loom for over the airline and a 1/4 tee for single shrader value use
The air lift helps me level my truck very well when I loaded it down. They help with the night driving so I don’t get flashed with high beams all the time. Thanks so much

The air bags have helped smooth out the ride while pulling our 5th wheel camper. They have performed very well.
