1,000-lb Capacity. Upgrade your vehicle's rear coil spring suspension with this kit. Molded polyurethane air springs fit inside your existing coil springs for added support when hauling heavy loads. Improves handling, braking, and overall ride.

Specs:
Heavy loads can cause the back of your vehicle to sag and add unnecessary stress to your suspension. This stress not only affects your brakes in a bad way, but your tires, headlight aim and handling suffer as well. To improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.
Air Lift's 1000 adjustable air springs have 1,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and are made specifically to fit inside your rear coil spring suspension for additional load assistance. You can inflate and deflate these tough, molded polyurethane helper springs as needed, ensuring the perfect amount of support for every load, every time. Easily level your vehicle front to rear, and if you run dual air lines to the air springs at installation, then you can inflate the springs independently of one another for side-to-side leveling. Air Lift 1000 is a breeze to install with standard tools and comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual.
Air Lift 1000 comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor and gauge system (sold separately), which will let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs.
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.
Air Lift is positive that you will benefit from their air spring suspension system - so much so that they offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Install and use Air Lift 1000 springs for 60 days, and if you are not satisfied at the end of this time, you can remove them from your vehicle and return them for a full product refund.

Improves handling, braking, and overall ride. With the tubing going under the suspension I don’t see it lasting long. The air bags looked a little short for the springs but I could not find if that was normal in the instructions. I don’t like the way the airlines are exposed to the ground. I believe I should have just gotten the upgraded rear springs. The air bags went in fairly easy after I deflated them and put the cap on to keep them deflated. I had to go through the side of the springs not the bottom as instructed. So far the air bags them selves are working properly.

Installed on 15 Jetta tdi. I Removed wheel, then coil spring, (1 side at a time) folded bag like hot dog bun and installed into coil spring upside down (fitting facing down) cause it would have hit otherwise. Reinstalled, ran lines, mounted fill valve in bottom part of rear bumper and filled. It’s been a year and is still working perfectly.

Product arrived promptly. Very simple idea, but absolutely difficult as H&¿¿to install. Trying to squeeze the folded air bag between the coil Springs was an absolute nightmare. Maybe some springs on some vehicles have a larger spacing between the coil, but a 2019 Kia Sorento does not. It took almost 6hrs to install both sides. One trick that did help was to use a little silicone spray on the air bag where it was jammed into the coil spring. This helped make the bag slippery so it passed between the coil spring. Just don't get it all over the air bag or it will be too slippery to hold onto as you push it into place. The hose clamps are really a poor design, awkward to squeeze with pliers as you position them into place. So far bags appear to be holding air pressure. Time will tell has to how durable and dependable they will be.I installed them to assist with towing my camper and help reduce the squatting when towing.

This lift system was exactly what the doctor ordered! We pumped up the airbags to the maximum, and then loaded my wife’s 2008 Toyota Sienna minivan up with 4+ passengers, camping supplies, a spare tire on the roof, and then attached a cargo rack to the hitch with an oversized cooler packed to the gills, firewood, and chairs without the bumper dropping an inch!!! It was an amazing sight to behold. I highly recommend this lift system!

2010 Toyota Sequoia Limited, item installed as described. Haven't used them with trailer yet. But install was straight forward and product seems solid so far.

Looked at these for several days, watched a few YouTube videos and pulled the trigger. They went in easy no fuss. Hook the 25’ air stream to her maybe just maybe a inch of squat. Help control the bounce. Please with my purchase.

Just received air lift kit today, will go to Hyundai dealer on Monday to see if they will install for me.

Air tubing seems a little flimsy. But air bags appear robust and good quality - hence very difficult to fold and squeeze between coils of spring. It was a real battle and took over five hours total.

I installed the AirLift 1000 air bags on my 1998 Toyota Sienna. I
flattened the bags per instruction but, I found that if I also folded
them in half vertically, they went in very easy. It took literally 30 seconds per side to install the bags inside the coil springs. I saw
where some people had to use a wooden spoon or blunt tool to force the
bags inside the coil springs. The method I used took no tools, and was
easy peasy.
The kit was shy 1 of the small hose clamps, otherwise everything
necessary for installation was there.
I'll be test driving for a couple of days and will update my review afterwards.

The Air Lift 1000 system is not fully installed yet after 4 and 1/2 hours of effort. I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The instructive videos from etailer were very useful and an improvement over the written techniques from Air Lift. I was able to get the air bags within the springs via the folded hot dog bun technique (i.e., folded length wise and using a temporary zip ties). Unfortunately, the bags did not reinflate after the zip ties and sealing cap was removed. I am, therefore, unable to get the tubing onto each bag's nipple. I tried calling Air Lift to discuss but they didn't pick up the phone. All other tubing and the inflating valve were successfully installed. I plan to bring the vehicle to a local tire shop to see if they can do this last connection to the air bags, and then try inflating. :(

This was easy to install and highly effective. I have a hitch mounted bike rack and when my Sienna is loaded up for a weekend of camping and biking, it used to ride low in the back. It also would scrape on some rougher dirt roads/mild 4wd roads. These air bags helped with that as well. I highly recommend these for people doing similar things.

I installed this on my 2016 Ford flex. It prevented the car from sagging while towing a trailer. So it did the job but there is absolutely no way this could have been installed the way it was advertised. The only way to install it was to free the springs from the vehicle and slide it from the bottom of the springs. Also, one of valves was manufactured poorly (it didn't have the hole to push the air into). Because of that, I wasn't able to pump the air helpers independently. My workaround was to install the "T" so both air helpers are pumped via one valve.
In other words, it does the job, but the installation was much more difficult than advertised and one of the valves wasn't usable.

We tried these and the rear suspension improves if we are carrying a bike rack, however after driving 4 hours or so the bags need to be reinflated. Not sure if this is typical or not. If there is a slow air leak I'm not sure how to easily locate it. Unfortunately, solid rubber shocks are not available for my vehicle.

I bought these to replace the blown bladders in my 2006 Winnebago Siteseer Worsehorse chassis. I'm a handy guy but was a little nervous about cutting out the old bladders and installing the Air Lift 1000 units. I found the customer comments very helpful especially the comment on using a heat gun to pull the old bladders out. The first one took me a couple of hours to figure out, the second one took me less than an hour to deinstall old and install new.
I REALLY appreciate the hose extensions for the valves. I installed them up in the engine compartment where I can easily access them for checking and topping off the air. For the units I replaced, I had to crawl up under the rig to check and fill--no more of that nasty, dirty crawl for this senior citizen.
Filled to 60 PSI, the first drive was noticeably different, the handling feels much stiffer than it had. We're launching out on a 3,600-mile road trip in the next couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle on the open road.
My advice to folks-- the installation seems daunting, but the results are well worth the challenge. I encourage you to try this product.

Easy to install in my 2012 Toyoda Sienna AWD. The air hose supplied was barely just long enough to reach the rear, where a custom made mount is required for the Schrader valves. I used 2 valves, rather than the "T" for for 1 valve, so each air bag would retain separate air pressure for better anti-sway support when cornering. Rear end squat is minimal with my 450 lb motorcycle mounted on a hitch rack and added load inside. The ride is noticeably flatter through corners, especially after lifting the van 2" higher for much better 8" clearance for well worn dirt double-track roads.

Great kit overall. Do heed the install instructions, and not online forums for the 5th gen 4Runner. The instructions are correct, and forums are not.
Only think I did not like about the kit are the barbed fittings, and the flimsy plastic tee that’s included. The barbed fitting are extremely difficult to have the air line engaged into in a confined space under the vehicle. A push to connect fitting, or some other type of compression fitting would have been easier.

I was experiencing bottoming out on my '03 Nissan Pathfinder by just adding passengers or groceries. At first, I thought about replacing the rear springs, but after installing the Air Lift system I was more than satisfied. I can increase pressure to 25 psi for cargo/heavy loads and then decrease to about 12 psi for everyday driving. My vehicle sits up like it was new and no longer sags or bounces. After 12 months and 9,000 miles I'm glad I went with this upgrade. Take your time and follow instructions for a perfect install.

The fork lift operator couldn't reach far enough to center them over my axle, but it didn't matter, because I installed air lift air springs and the Timbren bump stop spring enhancements. I can't believe how well they performed together. It was only a short trip with this load, and I'd never haul this heavy of a payload in a 1500 unless it was a short trip, but it wouldn't have been an option without these enhancements. The fork lift driver was even impressed. He asked me what I was using. These products kick serious ass! AMAZING!

The issue with the Bronco sport is that there are three very different suspension. I have the Big Bend version and after ruining an airbag we discover the kit is for the larger badlands coils and will not fit the base or Big Bend or the outer banks versions. It really is to bad manufacturers don’t do their homework. Great design but only fits one version of the Bronco Sport only the Badlands.

This product has greatly improved my towing capability and car handling. I tow a light travel trailer with a 2018 Kia Sorento V6. The rear of the Kia sits better/higher when under tow and the car handles much better. The only problem I encountered was finding someone to install the item. The local Air Lift authorized installer did not want to do it. After multiple other attempts to find an installer, a newly opened local shop took it on. It was a difficult install according to them, but they did a great job.

Just installed my new set of air bags (AL60815 Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs) on my 2008 Odyssey.
I purchased this model as a replacement to the previous air bags (F4179 Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs) that I purchased from etrailer four years ago.
I had to replace them because this winter one of the push on fittings broke off one of the air bags.
I have been using those air bags for four years towing my 2200 lbs tent trailer.
The only complaint I had was that sometimes air would seep out after towing for a few hours. I suspected it was from the push on fittings.
That was the reason I choose this model as they have barb fittings and spring clamps. Very positive connections and tight fits.
Installation was very easy as all the holes in the tables were already done from the last install.
1. Somethings to keep in mind, if your shocks are a few years old consider changing them at the same time.
2. Remember to support the table with a jack while removing and installing the retaining bolt for the table. Failure to do that will damage the threads on the bolt and rapidly decompress the spring.
3. When drilling the hole in the table don’t rush. Centering the hole so the valve on the air bag does not force against the edge is very important. Luckily there is a template in the instructions booklet.
4. Running the air line to the passenger side bag can be done through the center cross member.
I mounted my valve inside the van to keep it clean and out of the way. Using the tee to connect both bags to a single valve will facilitate inflation and ensure they are both at the same pressure.
I will be ordering another set of these air bags when I replace this Odyssey with a newer model in a few years.
Kit is very complete. All the parts I needed and did not have to run to the auto parts store.
Didn't use the heat shield because where I ran the line it is protected from the exhaust pipe.

These were great for helping support a little extra weight in my vehicle. The most difficult part is getting the bag in the springs but I watched several install videos and was able to muscle it in in just a few minutes. The package contains everything you need for a fast and easy install. So far no leaks and no complaints, I’m very happy.

This system works very well on my 2019 Toyota Sequoia SR5. It has been over a year now with trips to Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier NPs and had no issues - tt stays inflated with very little pressure lost over days, helps to keep the car leveled but certainly you have to use it in combination with weight distribution hitch. I pull 2019 Keystone Passport 219BH SL Series (~4,800 lbs dry weight)
Installation on Sequoia is easy (good installation access).
