Note: When servicing your truck with Air Lift air springs installed, if the truck is lifted by the frame, the air must be let out of the springs. And if the rear of the truck is lifted during service, then it must be supported by jack stands to avoid damage to the air springs.

This LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air spring kit has rustproof stainless steel components that offer long-lasting durability. These components are the roll plates, braided air lines, and air spring attachment hardware.
The roll plates protect the air springs from damage and beef up their load capacity. These sturdy plates help guard the springs from moving parts under your vehicle that might puncture the air bags. The plates also provide a larger surface area for each spring to roll on. The extra surface area gives you a higher spring rate at a lower air pressure, resulting in a better ride.
The stainless steel air lines are tougher than nylon airlines and last a lot longer. They offer extra protection against damage caused by sharp edges and flying road debris.

The air springs and jounce springs in this system work together to give you the best ride whether your truck is loaded or unloaded. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air springs have internal urethane foam jounces that protect the air springs and provide added ride comfort when your air pressure is low. The jounces also allow you to temporarily carry a load if the air springs lose air pressure. This gives your 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton pickup truck air springs that are easier to maintain.
Air Springs Level Your Load
Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts extra stress on your truck. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even inaccurate and unsafe headlight aim.
By pairing your existing suspension with LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air springs, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and get the support you need. The springs provide up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity (depending on the weight-carrying capacity of your vehicle) and distribute the weight of your payload to all 4 wheels. As a result, the stress on your factory suspension is significantly reduced. LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated equally for front-to-back leveling or independently of one another for side-to-side leveling.
The air springs are made of high-quality, 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends where the bag is enclosed with steel caps. These caps can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. But the endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air.
Built-In Jounce Springs Add Control and Comfort
The closed-cell urethane jounce spring inside each air spring gives you a more stable, comfortable ride. Each jounce acts as an overload spring and engages when your current air pressure level isn't enough to support your load. So on a rough road, the springs will kick in if needed to absorb bumps and shocks and help you to avoid bottoming out. When the jounces support a load, they adjust progressively - the more weight you pile on, the stiffer they become. The urethane material engages more smoothly than rubber jounces so you get a less jerky ride.
Because these jounces are taller than your factory jounce bumpers, they engage sooner than your factory jounces would to provide better support. And if the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air springs have insufficient or zero air pressure, the internal jounces will help to temporarily support your suspension and protect it from damage until you can repair or adjust the air spring system.
Installation
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump in air through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the manual inflation valves (one for each spring). Any air line excess must be coiled up and secured out of the way, so it won't get damaged. The air line cannot be cut or trimmed. And the valves are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere that is easily accessible. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately) that allows you to monitor and adjust the springs from the cab of your truck.

Awesome product except I have a small leak in one I start at 40psi and about 10 hours into my trip I gotta add more air I sprayed soapy water on it but couldn’t find it.

Air nipple , pretty straight foward if you have any mechanical ability , just make sure you check for air leaks before you install the bags otherwise it might be a little more difficult

They do not hold air. Have not found leaks. Bubbled all fittings. The person has tried to call to get what he thinks is leaking. One side goes down in less than 24 hr. The other side goes down within a couple of days. Do not recommend

Excellent product. Install in under 1 hour. Did add an onboard compressor with gauges/controls in cab about a month later. Definitely recommend adding compressor/gauges. That install took several hours though. It made the empty ride a tiny bit more stiff than before, but it still rides better than my '07 2500 ever did. Ride and handling when loaded is an impressive upgrade. 30' gooseneck horse trailer in hills and curves and very stable. 25k loads of hay no problem. 2k of tractor weights in the box, rides like a cadillac. I run up to 40 psi loaded, 5psi empty. 2020 ram 2500 with coil suspension and a diesel.

Received my order in less than a week. The directions were lacking a little but no biggie. The first side took me about 2 hrs to install including trimming (I highly recommend using a skill saw with a fine blade to trim if needed). Once I learned what right looked like the second side only took around 30 minutes (including trimming). I have them on my truck for a test run to see how the ride but haven't pulled my trailer yet. Seems like these will be a great purchase and so far I highly recommend.

I installed this kit about 3 months ago for my 2020 F150. So far it has been money well spent. When heading to our permanent camper 2 hours away, we typically tow the boat and load wood and other supplies in the box. This would drop the rear a lot and we would be shining the overpasses with the headlights.
I am now able to level the truck back out using my M18 inflator. The truck handles the road better when loaded.
When I'm driving the truck empty, I air the bags down to about 5lbs. I do notice the ride is slightly stiffer, but not bad and just a very minor trade off for making the truck much more capable.

The air lift laodlifter 5ooo works great. I haul a large 5th wheel camper and it's a great addition. Because of the 5th wheel hitch on my truck, I had to bolt the upper bracket instead of using the u-bolts. The self-tapping bolts provided are not strong enough. I drilled the hole with the exact size bit it called for and because of how tight the bolts where I would tighten so far then back out and go some more. One bolt broke when trying to loosen it. It may have been from going through the weld part of the truck frame. Either way stronger bolts are needed, these were a very low-grade metal bolt.

Stainless steel lines have a slow leak problem. I took truck in to RV repair center and was told this is a common problem. After checking all connections and still having the problem, using some bicycle stop leak slowed down the loss of air pressure.

When items were received, the box had several small holes in it, and some of the plastic bags with nuts, bolts and washers were torn open. After going through all of the items, there was a bolt and washer missing. Packaging should be more secure.

Shipping was fast, assembling instructions and installation was straight forward, only problem was one of the 3/8-24 screws had bad threads. I was able to rechase the threads. The air bags corrected the problem that I was experiencing with my 2500 Ram, the whole truck was rocking side to side bile pulling my 5th wheel camper. Why Ram thought it was a good idea to put coil springs on a heavy duty truck, I’ll never know.

First, etrailer's shipping is amazing. I can't believe how quickly it was shipped and arrived.
I have leveling spacers on the front end of my Ram 2500. The spacers make the truck look great when unloaded, but ridiculous when loaded. These AirLifts really complete the whole truck and level it out even when loaded with a heavy trailer. I keep them under pressure all the time and have zero complaints about ride quality; the truck has always had a rough ride since new when unloaded. It's a truck, not a Bentley. They also stand up well against rough roads.
A few comments on the install:
- When the instructions say "don't overtighten the stainless air hoses" what they really mean is "crank them as hard as you can with a hand wrench otherwise they'll leak". I initially had leaks at the joints because I was trying to baby the threads.
- Why don't the instructions recommend to remove your wheels? You already have it up on jacks. I can't imagine trying to install these with wheels and tires in the way.
- Not all parts are stainless, but I figure that the truck will rust out before these do.

Install fairly easy. Fit perfectly on my 2018 f150 4x4 no drilling required. Had to cut breakline bracket a little bit. Did not change ride with 10 psi. Looking forward to hauling my rv with it. Used holes on bumper bracket to put air fill points in. Underneath left and right side of bumper mounts.

So we don't have anything that fits with the factory air suspension but if instead you have the coil suspension you could use the Air Lift kit part # AL89375 without any type of spacer.
