Most OEM coil suspensions have a difficult time supporting heavy front loads like winches, brush guards and snowplows. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while clearing snow. Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in your front coil springs to help defeat driver fatigue and to better support heavy front loads.

Coil SumoSpring installed between rungs of coil spring

Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to a rung of each coil in your front coil springs. Inside each round spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils. The cushioning absorbs shock, but also works progressively to better support front loads, and it keeps the front end more level. Unbumpify your ride with these SumoSprings for coil suspensions.

  • Best Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevate
The X31 or Elevation package does not give your 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 a lift kit like the AT4 kit does so the suspension enhancement solutions do not require an additional spacer or anything in case that is why you mentioned that. But that said the best solution is the RoadActive Suspension system part # RAS54FR as it provides the best suspension support that is easily adjustable, is easy to install, and unlike other models does not negatively affect the ride quality of the truck. It actually...

  • Solution to Allow 2015 Toyota Tundra to Tow Trailer and Carry Motorcycle Carrier
I think I might have a solution you'd like but there isn't a dual hitch adapter that's going to have the capacity needed for the weight of your bike and carrier plus the tongue weight of your trailer. What you could do is install a front hitch on your 2015 Toyota Tundra with the Draw Tite part # 65080 and then use a motorcycle carrier like part # E98873 and you'd be able to still tow your trailer. Since that would be quite a bit of weight on the front suspension I'd also recommend the...

  • Are The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs CSS-1069F Safe To Use in Below Freezing Temperatures?
The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1069F are safe to use all the way down to negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit. You do not have to worry about wind chill with this number, just the outside ambient air temperature.

  • Recommended Front and Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro 4x4 With Winch
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle part # SSR-610-40 will work well to eliminate the rear sag of the 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro 4x4. I confirmed with SumoSprings that these springs are a fit for your model. The SumoSprings will definitely provide a smoother ride quality compared to the Timbren springs because they are progressive springs. They compress lightly with no or light lighter loads and up to 80% with heavy loads compared to other brands that are always engaged...

  • Does 2011Toyota Tundra Need Front End Alignment After Installing Sumo Springs Front Axle Springs
The Super Springs Front Axle Helper Springs # CSS-1069F that you referenced will fit your 2011 Toyota Tundra and come in a set of 2. Installation is pretty basic (I have attached the instructions) and requires that you raise the Tundra front end to unload the suspension to allow the helper springs to be placed inside the turns of the front coil springs. You will need a floor jack, two appropriately-rated jack stands and four wheel chocks to stabilize the rear wheels. You will not need...

  • Solutions For Porpoising Trailer Pulled With A 2012 Toyota Tundra
The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1069F for the 2012 Toyota Tundra may help with the porpoising effect that you are experiencing. However, usually porpoising is caused by the trailer weight not being properly distributed. If your tongue weight is not between 10-15% of the loaded weight of the trailer then it may be too light in the front. If you are at 10% try to make the tongue weight 15%. Also if you are not already using a weight distribution...

  • What Do Different Colors of SuperSprings Jounce Springs Mean
The various SuperSprings jounce springs made for the 2018 Tundra are produced in different colors as an indication of their weight capacities. The yellow springs such as rear-axle kit # SSR-610-54 are heavy-duty springs with a 2800-lb leveling capacity. Black springs like # SSR-610-47 are medium duty springs rated for 1500-lbs. The blue springs like # SSR-610-40 are light duty kits. As you review these SuperSprings kits for your Tundra be sure to check the 2WD or 4WD box at the top of...

  • Front and Rear Suspension Enhancement for a 2021 Toyota Tundra 4x4
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-40 and the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1069F are compatible with your 2021 Toyota Tundra 4x4. The # SSR-610-40 for the rear axle are a great option to help with the extra load on your suspension when towing your bass boat, while still offering a smooth ride when not towing. The SumoSprings provide progressive load control, so the more you load them the stiffer they become. With a lighter load,...

  • Suspension Enhancement for a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria
I did not know that having a sagging back end was cause to be pulled over. I know that some areas do have restrictions on how far off the pavement a vehicle can be. So first lets look at why the vehicle is sagging. If there is nothing in the trunk or back of the vehicle to weigh it down, and you have not modified it (like cutting the springs or used a lowering kit) then there is probably a problem with the suspension. If your 2000 Ford Crown Victoria uses rear air shocks, that could be...
