Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

8,600-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your vehicle. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use. These are worth every penny. I have used these with a heavy Toy Hauler Travel trailer (11000 lbs) on about 6 trips over 250 miles each. Then on a (14000 lbs) Toy Hauler 5th wheel for three trips over 200 miles each. They provide a great assistance under heavy loads. They especially assist with ride quality going over bridges and over pass transitions (wavy bridges). The Timbren has also made a drastic difference going around Richmond VA bypass on 295 (anyone who travels this route with a trailer knows exactly what I am talking about). I measured a 2-inch difference in squat with them vs without them. They do not impact daily driving habits and will not even notice a change. I have them on a SRW F350. Very easy installation, a couple bolts each and maybe 10 minutes. I would recommend these to anyone that hauls a camper. If you have one of them campers squats the truck, these could be a great help. Your payload is still what the MFR stamps on the truck. These help the ride amd make the truck feel in control. I have not experienced any trailer sway with these.
Product was easy to install, 1/2 hr taking my time. Used a open end wrench and floor jack. My 2018 F350 Super Duty Super Cab 4wd no longer plunges over bumps, it has lost all its rear end sway on turning, carries my load much smoother ( loaded all the time ). Even with the load I always carry, the vehicle sits 1” higher in the rear. Prior to the install I was constantly hitting the rubber stops on my factory overload springs.
Easy to install, Easy to buy from etrailer . Makes a big difference when towing my 5th wheel RV. Helps with overall control of the Ford F350 and a loaded RV (18000 Pounds).
I love them. First you don't have to worry about them losing air, or adjusting for the load. I was concerned they may make the ride rougher when unloaded. But since they don't actually touch, until you get some weight in the back, there is no change in the ride. I have read a lot of reviews that say they make the ride a lot rougher when unloaded. I say those people either don't actual have these, or they don't have the correct ones for their truck. I feel they bounce a lot less, when loaded heavy and you drive over large bumps or dips. We have drove about 10, 000 miles since installing. Half of those towing our 5th wheel, which weighs 17K. I will never own air bags again.
So easy to install on 2019 F350 SD Dually. just lift the back an inch by the hitch and can work right over the tires. no need to get dirty under the truck. I only drop 1.5 inches with my current fifth wheel, so these will just come into service when i load then family. Installed in less than 30 minutes.
Installed on 2019 F350 in which we pull a 41ft 18,000 pound 5th wheel around the country. This product took the majority of the squat out of the truck. Thru sunshine, snow ,rain and steep mountains timbrens have preformed flawlessly. Highly recommended.
Great product, easy installation. Will last. Better than air bags and components that will wear out for the weight that I haul.
They work exactly as described - installed on my F-350 for use with a 17K GVWR 5th wheel. No impact on daily driving, as a matter of fact I don’t even know they are they (until I need them)! Highly recommend
Just installed them. Your video is very good the directions that come with them are terrible.
Hooked up the fifthwheel and I only dropped 1”
With out them it would drop 3”
Delivered fast...easy to install on my 2018 F350...Truck no longer sets on the helper springs with a Palamino HS 2902 setting in the bed.. Took about 30 minutes to install
Easy install on 2017 Ford F-350. For a keystone Raptor RV with over 3500 Lbs tounge weight
They really hold up I don't have to worry about really anything Traveled over 2000 miles with my F350 no sags pulling a Montana 16800 pounds like nothing.
Great product! I had some body sway, and a little sag when loaded heavy in my F350. I have a steel flat bed so my pickups not empty when empty, these fixed my issue of it being squishy till the factory overloads kicked in.
Made the ride solid and firm, exactly what I was looking for. Makes corners great again for a heavy duty pickup, only thing a person may want to consider is if you have a heavy bed or loaded with tools, you’ll have to pick up the rear end to unload the springs enough to slip the timbren in.
Cant wait to get hooked up to the Rv and our dump trailer and see how much better it trailers, especially since it exceeded my expectations empty.
Very easy install and definitely a great product. Gets rid of the rear end sag when pulling any trailer. I got the 8600 pound rating ones ..so they do ride a little rougher but I own a pickup for work not a dang car so idc! Highly recommend to anyone pulling trailers. No maintenance like an airbag
Easy installation and product looks great . Will find out once we hook up the trailer . Should make a huge difference!
Delivery was fast and accurate. They sent me emails keeping me informed of package progress .
We pull a fifth wheel RV with a pin weight of 2400 LBS and our F350 Super Duty is always completely level. For us, the Timbren suspension system is much better and more economical then air bags.
This kit is missing part numbers f11540_750 the long bolts. The box looked as if it had been opened and retaped. I am positive this was a return that has obviously been used this is not a new part.
I have emailed the company as the clearance according the their instructions is 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches my new truck is 2 inches.
May change rating depending on their reply.
Could not be happier with the springs. Easy to install and do a wonderful job. I actually purchased a set for Kevin's Ram. Worked great on that as well.
Really good Product.
The order came promptly and was delivered in perfect condition. As indicated by others, they were easy to install and I installed them in twenty minutes. One of your other customers stated if you jack up the rear of your truck you can work over the rear tires without having to crawl under the truck. It worked perfectly! The pictures are of jacking up the truck, working over the tires, and final installation.
Nice and easy to put on. So far so good. It took me longer to put up my tools than the installation.
Solves the squat on my 2019 F-350 pulling 14K loaded 5 Th. wheel. I used these prior on my Tundra and helped more than when I added sway bar and Bilstein shocks. It does not effect daily use ride, but big benefit when towing. Nothing to maintain.
Works great when towing my fifth wheel trailer. However it destroys your ride when not towing. Maybe just a little to tall for my truck. Not easy to install, had to lift the bed of my truck to get them installed. I love them when hauling my trailer. They keep everything level and provide cushions for the trailer.
Truck loaded with 3000# camper - these do a good job of keeping the truck from sagging into the overload springs and also provide some lateral stability to minimize side to side rocking. That said, the ride is also quite firm, again loaded. Truck unloaded - over typical blacktop you really don't know the Timbrens are there unless you hit bigger bumps or are off road. My unloaded truck has about 3/4" clearance to the Timbren on level ground. The installation was a piece of cake, easy for a DIY install, one of the reasons I went with these vs air bags.
