The Inno Multi Cradle kayak carrier transports 1 sit-on-top or other heavy kayak hull side up on your vehicle's roof rack. The saddles are easy to load from the side of your vehicle, and they have soft rubber padding to protect your kayak during transport. Two tie-down straps are included to secure your boat to your crossbars, and the saddles install without tools.
The saddle-style cradles are easy to load from the side of your vehicle. Simply lift your kayak up and onto the roof and slide it into place hull side up. The cradles can be adjusted along your crossbars to ensure the kayak is resting flat on the saddle base pads. Loading your kayak hull side up helps to keep it balanced and reduces wind drag during transport.
Two 13' long straps are included to secure your kayak to your crossbars. Just loop the straps around your crossbars and your kayak and pull them tight with the cam buckles. The buckles have pads to protect your kayak's hull from scratches and abrasions. Bow/stern tie-downs (sold separately) are recommended to anchor the kayak to your vehicle's front and rear bumper.
The carrier installs quickly and easily with hand knobs, bolts, and brackets - no tools required. Place the cradles on top of your crossbars, hold the lower plates in position under the cradles, and thread the bolts through the cradles and the plates. Adjust the cradles until your kayak is stable, then tighten the knobs until the lower plates are parallel to the cradles.

Decent tie-downs but a bit of work to tie everything down and get the kayak settled, especially with a heavier kayak around 50 pounds and 12 feet long. The rubber pads do their job a little too well in that case!
They are jus what I needed for my annual river trip, sturdy construction and fit perfectly on the roof rack
I purchased a car rack system as well as the kayak carrier and it arrived in only two days! It was easy to put on and fits my 2013 Hyundai Tucson Limited perfectly. I picked up my new kayak the next day and mad it home with no issue what so ever. I am very satisfied with this product.
