Hey neighbors, it's Dustin here at etrailer. Today I have the Flint Hill Goods solid rubber wheel chock with eyebolt. Now this is a heavy duty wheel chock and it's ideal for tandem-axle trailers because as you can see we've got ridges on both sides to provide grip. It is 6 inches tall, but it's 7 3/4 inches long. And width wise, we've got 9 3/4 inches. The eyebolt is actually nice for several reasons, if you are wondering why it's there.
One, it's just easy to set it in place and to pull it out with the eyebolt. The eyebolt is also great if you're storing it. You can hang it by the eyebolt or if you have multiples, you can attach them together using the eyebolt if you have a rope or a chain. And when it comes to using it, you can see here on the bottom you've even got some nice grip here. So if you're on gravel or some different surfaces you shouldn't have too much of an issue.
And you slide it right in here. We're all set. Now, it's great for recreational trailers like our 5th wheel here just to prevent any extra movement when you're at the campsite and you've got the whole family in there moving around, little bit of rocking and rolling can be a little uneasy, especially if say the kids get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. This way you won't have to feel it. That's not only great for this application but let's take a look at some other trailers.
Now on the job site, it's great for enclosed or even flatbed trailers when you're loading and unloading equipment and supplies. Again, that way you don't have to worry about your trailer rocking and rolling. Another nice thing about it, especially on the job site, is that the rubber is completely chemical and corrosion resistant. You're not gonna have to worry about it breaking down over time or fading in the sunlight. It is specifically designed to stand up to the elements and harsh chemicals.
And that was a look at our Flint Hill Goods solid rubber wheel chock with eyebolt.

Keep your trailer in place with this solid rubber wheel chock. Both sides have built-in ridges to provide traction against your tire for a firm grip. I love these wheel chocks! My brother has 2 sets of these and they are awesome! They have good grip on a smooth or rough surface.Very good price for these as well. I will be ordering another set of these for my larger trailer!
Very sturdy wheel chocks; rely on heft rather than just shape. Use them to chock my 1,600 lb mower in place and they do a first class job.
I bought a pair of these for my 16' car trailer a year ago after trying to load it one day and having it get "pushed" by the car as it was going up the ramps. These are very solid and heavy duty. They do a great job of "biting" into the ground and holding the trailer firmly in place. I use them every time I load the trailer up. They also work great for holding things in the bed of the truck from sliding around!
If there was something lower than "poor" I would rate these wheel chocks there.
Don't get me wrong they work well and are very sturdy..... But the smell? When they arrived I tossed the unopened box in the house and left for errands. Big mistake!
Imagine the strongest mothballs you can combined with the downwind smell of an oil refinery running at 110%.
You simply cannot store them anywhere people might occupy. I tried storing them in the back of the truck (with a camper shell) in a sealed garbage bag and everything stored near them stunk. And that was after soaking them in detergent solutions and leaving them outside for several days to air out.
When we blocked the wheels of our travel trailer with them we couldn't sit near them and if the air was still we could smell them at night while we slept.
The smell finally drove me to throw them away. I am not sure how E-trailer keeps these thing in a closed warehouse without getting serious headaches.
Anyway..... buyer beware!
Yes, everything has worked out great! I attached a picture of the race car trailer hooked up to my 2011 Tahoe PPV. Made several trips this summer of at least 3 hours or more, fully loaded,
and it towed perfect. The only thing I ended up having to do, was modify the solid drop hitch. Had to shorten it by 2" because it would bottom out occasionally.
You guys have always given me great service, technical advice, and selection of products to work from.
I bought chocks for all 3 of my tandem axle trailers. When I load and unload my horses the trailer is very stable and l no longer worry about my equipment trailer pushing my truck when I drive onto it.

These work well when chocking our trailer. I put a chain on on two of them that way I can chock both the tires and pick them up easy.

Doing their job and a friend of mine bought the same ones.
Work great. Boat weighs nearly 4,000 lbs on trailer. Even with an incline on our driveway, held trailer in place with no slipping.

Great! Would say the smell of new rubber does last for months. Kept them outdoors for the summer.
Where others failed these did the job and continue to do so. My boat trailer is held securely in place, even while on a slight plane.
This was my second purchase from etrailer.com, the on line catalog makes it simple to identify what is needed as specifications along with an image are provided along with instructions.
They look and work great! Put them to use on our first fifth wheel trailer.

Working Great!
I was a little worried that this chock would be a little small but it was perfect. Works great with my tandem axle. I use it to assist in stopping my trailer at the right position when reversing. When done I toss it between the two wheels with confidence. Great product!
Excellent pair of wheel chocks. A product I can trust to use.

After reading several blogs by full time RVers, I decided to go with the heavy duty rubber type chocks. I was most impressed by the design and weight of the chock. It really sticks to the ground.
Heavy duty! This solid rubber chock is the real deal - it could hold a tire on the landing gear of a 747, I'm pretty sure. I wasn't figuring on them weighing quite so much, so the twine I was going to use as hangers won't cut it. They also stink like creosote a little bit, which I'm sure is a condition that will slowly wear off as they age. Just don't keep them inside your home for any length of time. Other than that, they are fantastic, and much more secure than the plastic ones I otherwise found.
Excellent product, heavy, serious stopping ability and I would recommend for your inexpensive or expensive trailer alike!
Website so easy to search, I found everything I was looking for in just a few minutes with full description that made my installation a simple task. Soon as I place my order a confirmation came through email, shipping was fast and free. Wish shipping was free with lower minimum purchase
Thank you E-Trailer
Trailer is still very securely in the driveway and has not rolled into the street (note: it is on a slope).
Very good quality and worth the cost
Heavy, well made. Did the job for two of our enclosed utility trailers while parked.
Not going anywhere til they are removed. Nice product!
everything I ordered was well packaged and the video's help me pick the exact lighting I wanted. Five stars on all the items and five stars for etrailer

very rugged, works good
Without these it would all be down hill.Used these on some steep slopes without problems. There a good heavy, safe chuck that doesn't move once it's placed!!!.
Large, very solid wheel chock for my 2 horse bumper pull trailer. This shipped the same day I ordered and was delivered within the next 2 days. Great product, good price, excellent customer service!

The eye bolts loosen up every now and then, but otherwise the chocks still look and work like new. I have found many other uses for these things since buying them, like sliding them under pallets to unload engines. They dont deform and hold the weight, although Im sure thats not the recommended way to use them so dont!. All in all, still a great product.
