Michael: Hi there! I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this rubber wheel chock by Stromberg Carlson. This is going to be a great option for those of you who have motor homes or large vehicles that you're wanting to prevent from rolling when you have it parked. This is a nice oversized chock, so it's going to be ideal even for your large motor homes.A few measurements here. It's right about 7 3/4 on an inch wide. You can see there...
Or, sorry, long. 7 3/4 of an inch long. Our width, if we don't include our handle here is right under 6 inches. We'll call it 5 7/8 of an inch. If we do include that handle, it takes us right up to about 7 inches.
And then our height, we're looking at right about 5 inches in height. It is going to be a good option for those larger motor homes. It is a nice solid rubber construction, so it's not going to crack or break. It is also resistant to UV rays, water, mold, and corrosion. It's going to hold up well, do a good job for you for years to come. You can see it does have this ridged surface here. That's going to provide extra grip on the tires to limit the movement.
And we do have this easy-to-use handle to make it very easy to get this put in position and to pull it out when we're ready to move again. This is made here in the U.S.A. So, you can trust it's made to the high-quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U.S. And it is only about four pounds, so it is going to be very easy to move around, get put in place, and then store it in your RV's storage compartment until you're ready to use it for the next time. So, if you are looking for a good rubber chock, I'd say this is going to be a great option for you. I think it'll do a good job and be very easy to live with over the long run. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael, with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watching.

Work well for our 2019 Flagstaff SE Pop up camper stabilizing jacks.

These deform under pressure when stacked on a hard surface. I tried to position the jacks where I thought they'd get the most support, but it didn't seem to help much. It was difficult to get a picture that shows it clearly. They might work well on softer surfaces that have more "give", but the design doesn't seem well-suited for concrete. They're still usable, but a completely solid piece would be a lot more robust as compared to this webbed design. My main issue with them deforming under pressure is that I have to re-level the RV after they settle. It's not a big deal and, as I said, they are useable, it's just that I am comparing them to another set I have that is completely solid rubber and never deform under any conditions. Granted, the other set I have was a lot more expensive, but I was hoping these would be a more cost effective version of the other ones. They are good, just not as good as the others.

These pads are well made and hold up under the pressure created by our 10,000 lb. 5th Wheel. I have used them on soil platforms, concrete platforms, gravel, and masonry platforms as well with the same good performance. No breakage or tearing occurred and they are easy to install.

The product does what it is made for. No issues and trailer dry weight is 13,000lbs with everything we put in it is around 14,500 and pads held up just fine

These smash down. I found a heavy duty thicker one on that works much better.

Could be slightly larger , but very good

We bought the 12x14 2” thick pads to use as jack pads for our 38 ft class A diesel motor home, and they work great. Yesterday we stacked two together and drove the front tires of the motor home up onto them so we could get under the front end of the coach to grease fittings. The pads did great; didn’t bend or crack and our coach weighs 29,000 lbs. The pads are sturdy and aren’t too heavy for my wife to carry, so I think they’ll be just right for our needs.

Nice quality and they don't smell like old tires or have that heavy rubber odor that seems to last forever and permeate everything. Very nice finish on them, handle has a good feeling grip and will be easy to manipulate with a long handled hook tool we already use. Haven't actually used them as of yet, but think they'll do just fine for those occasions when we will be required to use a jack pad. Our coach has rather large feet and will take up most of these pads. A bit nicer than I was expecting.

Pad is heavy and appears strong. Time will tell how it holds up. Waffle like pattern on bottom should help it stay afloat over soft sand and maybe some mud.

These are awesome, my plastic ones faded and smashed over time.
No slipping and sinking on soft surfaces.

thick / heavy / solid - should work well as a 1-2" base.
