Today we're going to be taking a look at the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap. Now this center cap covers the hub and lug nuts on your trailer wheel. It adds a very clean, finished look for a better looking trailer. This is a plastic construction. It's going to feature a really well diamond chrome finishing. Offers a really great look, really great shine.
Now the chrome does feature a slight machine finish which will match the machined finish on a wheel. It also has silver accents which adds a really nice touch to the center cap. Installation screw is included. This is designed to fit 14 inch diameter wheels with a 5 hole bolt pattern and a pilot hole diameter of 3.19 inches. Let's go ahead and show you how to install. It's a very quick and easy process to do.
What you need to do on your wheel is on your wheel there's going to be an installation hole which is this one right here. It's threaded so we need to make sure that when we place our center cap on there, that our holes line up. Now there's a little area right here that we need to make sure goes into the indention, which is straight across form the installation hole. Place that in. You want it perfectly seated.
It's going to offer a really nice fit. Place the screw in. If you can, you can go ahead and get it started by hand. Then it will finish up by simply using a standard Phillips head screwdriver. Go ahead and get it all the way tightened down and then offers a really nice, snug fit and a great look to the wheel.

Great wheel center cover. Makes the factory rims look good.
Overall the product is good. The average rating was given because the cover is produced in two pieces. The inner portion that covers the wheel sub spindle is held in place to the outer ring with plastic "snaps." If you hit a pothole, the inner portion flies off, making the remaining ring useless. This product should be extruded as one piece.
Matched the existing wheel center caps.
Perfect replacement for my 2008 Triton boat trailer. Actually looks better than the factory wheel cover.
I held off on input after finding out the product didn’t fit. The product is fine, but is the wrong configuration for my trailer. I am looking for an alternative hub cover and was planning to call etrailer for assistance. I have been unable to find what I’m looking for and need to return the purchase for a refund. I believe the wheels are 15” and the Pilot diameter is 3.19”. Yes, 5 bolt pattern.
Sierra K - 11/19/2021I have a 2005 trailer with similar looking hub caps to these. I really wasn’t sure these were going to fit because of the age of mine. I also didn’t know if I should order 14 or 16 inch. I went with 14 as that is the soze of my tire. I only ordered 1 to make sure it was what I needed. It exactly what I needed so I will be ordering the other three. They are good quality, packed excellent and the company followed up to make sure I was satisfied. This was the perfect solution for replacing the wheel center covers my 2007 Triton bass boat trailer. The clip out centers on the covers were perfect for fitting the oil bath hubs and the wheels now have a factory look again. These fit the 14 inch wheels that came on my 2007 Triton boat package that includes a Marinemaster trailer. However the trailer is equipped with Oil Bath Hubs and the original piece has the center approximately 1&7/8 inches of material removed. This allows the oil level in the hubs to be monitored with out removing this piece. It also allows the hub temperature to be checked periodically on long trips. (I use an IR thermometer.) Suggest you consider producing a model with this capability.
I have removed the removable center pieces (Driving America circular attachment) from this model to allow for these maintenance checks.
It fits nicely and is a great replacement for the original see-through hub cover on my boat trailer.

Product worked great to replace a lost cap on my Triton boat trailer. Only drawback is they don't match the triton lettering like the ones on my boat on the chrome plastic cap piece, but otherwise a great fit. They also don't have a hole in the center of the cap to view the oil bath hubs like my factory ones did, but a hole-saw drill bit solved that minor cosmetic difference, though it would be helpful for those with oil bath hubs so you don't have to remove the plastic assembly to check your bath hub oil level.
Kevin - 04/08/2015First the product was exactly as described! Our P/O Rockwood H/S camper came w/o any center caps. A little research and I discovered that etrailer had the exact replacements. Now for the part that is really important. I received two center caps. One was mislabeled by etrailer's supplier and was too large. I called customer service and they immediately sent out a correct replacement. No hassle !
I purchased 2 of the center caps for my 2008 Triton Marine Master trailer. Triton did not stock the original center caps and referred me to etrailer. They are a very close match to the original caps and fit perfectly on the wheel. The center caps are a quality product at a fair price. I will be a repeat customer.

Good replacement center cap for Triton oil bath hub caps. You can cut a hole in the center if you want to make it see through.
Like the product. Looks good on trailer.
Wish they made these like the original with the center open to see the sight glass for oil bath hubs.

I had to drill out the center of each one for the see-through hub bearings on the trailer, but that was no trouble at all.

I own a 2008 Triton 18x2 bass boat that sits on a 2008 Marine Master single axle trailer with UFP's DB-35 surge brake system. I lost one of the OEM wheel lug and hub covers when someone tried to steal my trailer rims while I was on the lake. These replacement covers fit 100% perfectly. You might even say they fit better than the originals. These were also kinda hard to find until I came across Etrailer. Even a Triton dealer had trouble finding the originals that say "Triton". Kudos to etrailer!
