Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Counteract stud and hub cleaning kit with an air driver. Now, when you're installing your wheels to your vehicle or trailer studs and hubs, it is always necessary to clean all the threaded and mating surfaces and wheel assembly to ensure proper clamping force is achieved. You do wanna adhere to the Tire Industry Association's RIST procedures. Now, this stud and hub cleaning kit right here will allow you to quickly clean rusted and corroded wheel studs and hubs on your vehicle or trailer to allow for proper wheel mounting.

And this kit is designed for use on smaller automotive applications. Want to zoom in. We're gonna open this up and show you what's all included in this. Has the two zippers on each side, so if I spin this around and we open it up, we'll first start, it comes with the low speed air driver. You can see right there.

Comes with this nice stud cleaning tool with the half inch adapter that's included. Does come with the hex key that's used to tighten down these set screws when you put your cartridge in there. I'm gonna show you that in a minute. Comes with the four different size cartridges as you can see right here. Different sizes, we'll go through those also.

Does come with the half inch Hub Hero cleaning disc. Comes with some nice safety glasses. And the case is a nice, sturdy, foam-padded carrying case for carrying everything. So, basically, this kit is designed for use on 7/16 or also 12 millimeter, the half inch, also 13 millimeter, 9/16, also 14 millimeter, and 5/8 inch, also 16 millimeter studs. This non-impact air driver will feature a nice low speed, it's 1,800 rpms, very low torque.

Has a nice comfort grip to it. And that, the trigger right here will let you, give you variable speed. Now, it does in move, it does move in either forward or reverse just by switching this back or forth. And right here is where you'll connect to the air line and the air compressor. Now, the stud cleaning tool, this is manufactured from a single piece of anodized aircraft aluminum, increasing the strength and durable, durability of the tool itself. The included half inch adapter allows you to quickly insert this into the air driver. You can see on your air driver, on the end, you have this nice, quick connect connector right here. So, if you just put your tool there, push it, and it'll connect just like that. And then to remove it, same way, just push it and you can disconnect it. So, it's very simple installation and removal. Now, on this tool, the cartridges are gonna be installed into the tool, and they're held in place with these three set screws that you'll use this hex key for. So, whenever you pick whatever size you need, let's say, we're gonna use the half inch one, you just inserted into there. And then you tighten down these hex screws to hold it into place. Insert it into your air driver. And just like that, you're ready to go to clean the half inch size studs. And then to remove it, what I do is just put the hex, push it out a little bit so you can grab it. And then you can pull that size out and put in whatever size you need for this stud. The other nice additional thing they offer is this half inch Hub Hero cleaning disc. And this will also install into the tool. It'll clean surface rust and debris on your mating surfaces of your wheels, hubs, drums or rims. The abrasive insert right here snaps into place. You can see the two spring loaded, and then you can see the openings right there that it'll, so you just get it started into there. Push it into place, it'll lock right in and you're ready to go. And then to remove it, just push in on both of those, and that'll allow you to twist it right out. So, simple installation, simple removal. And again, they do give you these nice safety glasses that you always wanna wear when you're using this, and they do adjust. You can adjust them out, adjust them in. And again, as we've mentioned, let me get this sturdy carrying case here again. You can see the foam inserts that'll accept all these pieces. Our glasses in, put that in, our key right in place, our tool in place. And then we'll go ahead and insert the four different size cartridges. And just like that, it's all back in place. Zipper closed. And you got your nice carrying handle, so you're all ready to go. But that should do it for the review on the Counteract stud and hub cleaning kit with the air driver..
