Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Counteract Stud Cleaning Tool for 1/2" wheel studs. Now, when you're installing your wheels to your vehicle or trailer studs and hubs, it's always necessary to clean all the threaded surfaces of a wheel assembly to ensure proper clamping force is achieved, and adhering to the Tire Industry Association's RIST procedures. Now, this part here will include the stud cleaning tool. It includes this 1/2" size, also 13 millimeter size, stainless steel brush cartridge, which would install right in the end, just like that.

It includes the hex key that's used to tighten down the three set screws to hold the cartridge in place. And then the last piece is this 1/2" drive adapter that'll install into the bottom, and that'll allow you to insert it into a drill or air driver. Now, this stud cleaning tool allows you to quickly clean rusted and corroded 1/2" wheel studs on your vehicle or trailer to allow for proper wheel mounting. As we've mentioned, it does require a handheld drill or a Counteract air driver, which we sell separately on our website. That Counteract air driver is part number CA39FR, and it's listed on this product page as a related product, but basically you would install this into the drill or driver, tighten it down, and then by operating that drill or driver, we'll clean the studs.
