I have used this cover for about a year now. My F150 sits in the sun all day. I use this silver side UP and it DEFINATELY makes a big difference in the heat inside the truck and protects the wipers.
After a year I notice two things.
1 the elastic of the straps that wrap around my mirrors have certainly stretched some.
2. The silver coating is flaking off. I placed it in the backseat of my truck one day and had silver sparkles all over my black rubber mat. Like having several people with glitter having sat back there. I'm concerned this may lead to a failure of the cover in the coming year.

The replacement cover works well. It seems to be just slightly smaller than the original and I do wish it were maybe 1-2 inches bigger all around for my F150. Having said that it makes a big difference on heat inside and I would buy it again

This is brilliant. Held up great after 1 year of use. Doesn't show any sign of wear or UV damage. Only use to keep sun out on summer days. Much more effective than sunshades that sit inside the windshield. And protects wiper blades as a bonus. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Even bought one for my dad!

Another year has passed and it is still working like a charm and no sign of aging. Highly recommended for hot climates and to guard against sun damage.
It is a wonderful windshield cover! It works great for the Summer! I have got a lot of comments!

Silver material is flaking off!
This window covering is exactly what I was looking for sun protection. Fits perfectly on a 2023 GMC Sierra. The reinforced plastic ends make sure the wind doesn’t lift the cover up and it is big enough to cover the windshield wipers, which is important during hot summers. Only time will tell how long it will last as a sun cover. Hopefully Etrailer doesn’t make any changes to fitment; however, I’d have no problem buying something that fits perfectly every year or two. This windshield cover is exactly what I need. I park my truck in the sun facing in a southwesterly direction on weekends. The reflective side of the windshield cover will keep the sun from coming through the windshield damaging the interior of my truck and will help to keep the interior cooler. The windshield cover arrived a few days earlier than projected with no damage even though the box it was shipped in was crushed and bent.
I used this shade on my 2020 Ford F150 and it was a disaster.. I put it on the windshield and left the truck in my driveway for a couple of days during a significant rainstorm and it leaked significantly. Maps and everything else I had in the door pockets were soaked and there was a significant amount of water on the floor mats. I will not be using this product again and I suggest that you discontinue it or at a minimum warn your customers not to use it when it is likely to rain. I've always had good experiences with you products in the past but I am very disappointed with this one,

Honestly this is the first time that I have heard of the cover causing any leaks in a vehicle. Typically the material is thin enough that there is not any gaps. I recommend reposition where the strap is placed in the door and make sure that the weather stripping has not come undone.
Windshield and Wiperblade cover fit perfectly on my 2018 Chevrolet Cruze. I love how one side can be used for winter and the other side can block out the sun rays during the summer months.
Outstanding, and performs as advertised!!! I bought two of these after a bad snowstorm last year; one for my Chevrolet Suburban and one for my Mazda5, which is a much smaller minivan that is no longer manufactured. I've only installed them once, a couple of weeks ago before a multiple day snow and ice storm which left several layers of snow and ice on both vehicles parked outside in Memphis TN. The "etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover - 70" Wide x 39-3/4" Tall" protected the windshield and wiper blades on both vehicles. I left then on both vehicles for 5 or 6 days and am very pleased with them. We had sub-zero temps, including several days with single digit temps for all of that time. They were easy to install, easy to uninstall, and saved me from having to scrape or melt several layers of ice and snow--8 to 10 inches thick--probably over a period of several days if I hadn't installed them. I'm sorry I did not take any photos!
I bought 2 of these, 1 for my 2010 Honda CRV and 1 for my wife’s 2016 Toyota Rav4 The Toyota spends nights in the garage so that one doesn’t get used too often. The Honda is always outdoors, I use the cover whenever we get snow here in Maine. Both covers are holding up well, my only reason for 4 stars is that the covers are just shy of covering both the wiper area and as well as the top of the windshield on both cars . I always opt for covering the wipers. I used the “Select Vehicle” search when I made my purchase. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, they get the job done, but I wish they had one that was taller than 39 3/4”.
See the pictures! It's 7°F right now and we had a heavy snowfall last night. I took these photos about 9:00 AM. I think this shows the ease of using this cover. Note the closeup showing the wipers clear. The vehicle is not ready to move yet. The electric plug hanging from the passenger-side grille is a block-heater which keeps the diesel from gelling in the cold. If I could, I'd be testing the other side of the cover (the one for sun and heat), but I can't do that until summer and that's a long way off.

It works just as well against sun as it does snow, although the truck still gets hot, at least the dashboard doesnt burn my hands. Im very careful to keep the cover dry and store it in the provided case. I think this is why is still holding up.
Excellent fit. Will do the job of keeping leaves out of deep wiper trough of Ford Maverick Hybrid.
Good product. I live 35km. north of Toronto Canada. This winter has been like no other that I can remember in my 71 years. The mild temps. and very little snow in our area has been great. I have used the cover on approx. 4 occasions and it has severed it's purpose well. the only issue that I have experienced is that the material is a little on the light side when it is windy. I did use the mirror straps and the flaps tucked into the doors however the high wind did move the cover around quite a bit. other than that minor issue, I am very happy with it's performance.
This is the second Windshield cover I have purchased from etrailer. The first has done well for about 8 months. Although I ran my search in the etrailer website for a 1994 F250 cover the new one came and was identical to the first purchase. The cover is approximately 6" too wide and I will have to cut the supports to size to make it fit accurately. Once I cut it to size I am sure it will be fine. But I am not impressed with the sizing assistance from your website.
I own a 2008 Toyota Prius and this product is amazing. Covers the entire windshield but still fits snugly. I used the heat reflective side all summer while I was traveling the country and camping out of my car, it really helped with climate control and privacy on the nights I slept in my car.
I tried this windshield cover after trying several others. It has held up without sticking to my windshield or falling apart. It fits perfectly. It keeps the ice and snow off my windows. If there are several inches of snow, I'll brush off the snow before I remove the cover.
I give the item 4 stars only because Iget about one year before the metallic coating starts to flake off however, I will continue to buy based on ease of use and being very effective. Summers are brutal in So. Fl so life span may vary by geographic location
I put this on my Ford F-350 Suoer Duty but is not wide enough to cover the windshield it is about 5 inches short. Although short I’ll still use it I suggest you add additional material to fit properly.
The seam let out within the first month where the plastic rod is on the side. The elastic is pretty light-duty and is already showing signs of being over-stretched. It is still nice to not have to scrape the windows though.
this fits a 2023 Honda Ridgeline windshield perfectly - the honda windshields are of odd dimensions - it was the same issue I had with my 2007 Ridgeline finding a windshield cover - but as always I can find one one on eTrailer.

Very nice construction. I had purchased a similar product from e-trailer in the past, but the material was black in color, and I only used them for ice and snow. the new reversible style will work in summer and winter!
Does not fit a 2023 sprinter van, despite what the description says.

I am sorry to hear that this did not fit your sprinter van. This cover is a universal fit, it is not made to be a confirmed fit for any specific vehicle. This should fit most cars, trucks, and SUVs. The covers dimensions are 39.75 inches tall by 70 inches wide, with the side flaps adding an additional 7.875 inches.
Easy order and fast shipping. Works well and protects wipers as well as interior. Fairly easy to install and remove. Seems to keep interior cooler since it blocks the sun from hitting the glass. It will also keep snow and ice off the windshield. Rolls up in fairly thin roll but long and not the easiest to store. Best for longer term vehicle storage. Great product for protection. I love it.
After first cover started flacking and you replaced it l have not had any issues with the second one. So far it is holding up well.
After one year the reflective surface failed and started to peel away
Fits perfectly! Can't wait for first snow ... that I now won't have to clear from windshield!

Gosh, this is relatable! I am living at a home with a garage for the first time in my adult life where Ill be able to park our car and wont have to frantically chip away at ice in the moments Im supposed to be on my way to work! It really is the small things in life, isnt it.
